Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I probably don't have the time to build, but I can try.
Sign me up: Tamashiimizu
It should be renamed Lag Effect
Next contest theme: Bruce
Man oh man, looking at this thread and all the drama makes me glad I didn't entered this contest at all.

Yeah, it's like they should have sent a crew message via ingame news tab.
Agreed, they could've at least created a topic on the Game Discussion. Not everybody comes in the Game Business to see what's going on, specially when you're away from home +10hours everyday.
I don't know why you would expect important news to appear in Game Discussion.
So we can discuss it. Actually, I only discovered (even if very late) about the contest because I saw someone discussing it there.
But whatever, it's really my fault, the only contest I've entered was the Going Back Contest from nmldejonge, and it occurred entirely on the Game Discussion (because it wasn't official) so I thought it was the norm.
But I still think there wasn't enough disclosure, specially in-game.
Also, look at the topics here. They're all official. When was the last time an official contest took place?

@zioxei that looks like Bladewolf from Metal Gear Rising!

Oh, something terribad did happen (months ago, forgot this thread existed) and I was expecting it anyway. Oh well, going to a private one in my city and screw it. This will barely matter in a few years.
You can study 2 or 3 (or more if you wish so) semesters in your city and transfer to Florianopolis. But man, you'll have to study a lot.
Damn, I didn't even knew there was a contest going on.
Thansk for the pics! I'll definetely use them some day.
Do you guys ever plan worlds/art on paper? These days I almost always plan my worlds on paper before building them. Here's some of my art planning on my sketchbook:
Everyone should try it, it has helped me a lot to build worlds
That's a really great advice. I wouldn't be able to finish my world for the Going Home Contest if I hadn't used paper and pen to delimit the space I could and could not use in the level.
"shutupsmoothskin"
There's a high probability that this troll played FallOut.
Same as skullz17; incentive to build (since I spend +13hours away from home, I don't have much time to do something in EE, but this doesn't mean I don't have time to THINK about it)
And, I think EE should be available (if it isn't already) in tablets and mobile phones. There's a LOT of people who play random games on mobile while away from home, and EE (disconsidering medium/hard minis) would be a lovely mobile game.
Six already? I think I'm getting old... with EE.
I still remember when I used to play this when I was on school. Good times...
Creepy as hell.
Seems like some people just want to see the world burn.
Really liked this one. I think the animation for the white one is a little distracting, so the subtlety of the red one is pleasing to me.
But I don't use auras (5000 it's too much for me), so I can't compare it to some kind of standard.
And the white one really reminds me of flour.
There's an example: The player can't move, just read the signs, so he won't jump up the time doors.
Couldn't you just use a one-way block to prevent jumping? (at least in this case)
I like the idea, but I don't think there are many applications for it.
I don't think invisible boosts are necessary. Just use portals bro.
The devs could use their time in better things.
There are some factors to consider, like family and whether the person lives in a house or an apartment, but in general, I:
prefer dogs, but if I had to choose, I would pick a cat because they are more independent and are a better pest control. (dogs may offer some security, but cameras and alarms may do a better job)
There should be an EE Oscar, with a golden-face-of-Bruce statue as a prize.
I don't see any inconsistencies. Look:
Death Gate: Death leaves no shadows, because death is shadow itself, the absence of life, the totality of shadow itself.
One-way platform: Why should one-way have a two dimensional shadow? If you pay close attention, there's is a one dimension shadow in the block, consistent with its name.
Half block, half shadow.
The timed block have no shadow because time is an intangible concept, with an intangible shadow.
The ladder's shadow is on the floor, because the sun is in the sky. Makes sense right?
The switch gate and coin gate have no shadows because our wise developers see them as part of a bigger system, they are used to create systems and contraptions and complex mechanisms, concepts that are also intangible. Why should a switch resetter have a shadow?
The builders club gate is building it's shadow, just wait and see for yourself.
The ice have a shadow and lightning effect in the block itself.
Please don't add shadows in the white block, there is a reason this block is the brightest of all.
I wonder how many steps would also work here, 6 is too much for such a small community.
I don't know, but think about it: It's easier to be connected to someone across the state (small community) than across the entire country (big community).
And for those who don't know what "6 degrees of separation" is, I recommend this video:

Too hard to me, but cool concept.
This reminds me of the "6 degrees of separation" thing. Interesting work dull.
Since where I live everything is taxed so much, so much, I pirate what I can (and because I don't have the money to buy the original)
For example, I bought a second handed cellphone for 100 "money", while the book for a class I was attending costs 200 "money". For comparison, the DIGITAL version of the books it's almost the same price as the cellphone I bought.
In situations like this, "moral" and "ethics" are just cute concepts.
