Just like the orange blocks, the new fairytale pack is also not allowed to be used in contest maps:

-You are not allowed to use the newly released fairytale pack in your contest maps.

Agreed, they could've at least created a topic on the Game Discussion. Not everybody comes in the Game Business to see what's going on, specially when you're away from home +10hours everyday.

But why not? Game business where all the important news is, and it's usually rare to see a tick next to it so you should keep an eye on it. It's only popular now because of the recent updates, and of course the contest. I don't know why you would expect important news to appear in Game Discussion.

I don't know why you would expect important news to appear in Game Discussion.

So we can discuss it. Actually, I only discovered (even if very late) about the contest because I saw someone discussing it there.
But whatever, it's really my fault, the only contest I've entered was the Going Back Contest from nmldejonge, and it occurred entirely on the Game Discussion (because it wasn't official) so I thought it was the norm.
But I still think there wasn't enough disclosure, specially in-game.

Also, look at the topics here. They're all official. When was the last time an official contest took place?

I think it's a bit silly that we have to have registration AND submitting levels. You only need one. The people who haven't registered could easily submit a level, and when the building period is over you could just include those late ones in the judging as well.

I'm pretty sure the registration was so they could confirm the world was empty before entering otherwise some people may have had more time than others. And submitting levels is to save time as if someone registers but does not build anything it would be a waste of time to check the world.

Oh yeah. But I still think just the registration would be enough. I've seen that done in the past. I don't think that it would really matter much if they end up checking empty worlds.

There are currently a couple of disqualified users for alt accounts on multiple teams, and a disqualified team for building their level before the registration process ended.

Updated both topics, there's not long left to finish your maps, remember to submit them when they are complete or the judges will not grade them.
