Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is the criteria for a mod position just asking for it repeatedly/being part of this small game's even smaller in-crowd?
Although I wasn't the one to select Zoey to be a moderator, I would like to at least defend her position.
I 'worked' with her when we were judging the Design Contest, and she was organized and unbiased. Since she became a moderator, she has, to my knowledge, successfully followed the moderation protocols, and worked with the moderation team in banning people successfully for the correct lengths of time based on their actions. There has been no evidence she has abused her powers since she joined the team, and it's a shame so many people 'hate' her based on her past. She's been fine as a moderator so far, and I hope she doesn't prove me wrong.
I don't hate her, I don't even know her. I wasn't asking about her performance so far either, but congrats to her for keeping it together for a week.
I'm just trying to understand the process by which she was considered/approved to become a moderator. I feel like when someone who was previously a moderator receives a 3-page long demod thread immediately after being remodded, it's worth examining what makes them/this action so polarizing. Maybe Emalton could chime in instead of just wooting your unrelated post?
Atilla's brought up a good point, however. Will Zoey be more lenient with her friends? Couldn't that worry have been avoided by just modding someone else?
I understand that pretty much anyone will eventually find issue with any mod, but this quick upset seems very different from what I've seen in the past.

muting you was a one-off (as usual) until i saw how frustrated it made you
this is,,,honestly,,,next level ! ! thank you for the numerous shout outs. I always appreciate an Impact.

if its labeled as a hard campaign you keep it either medium-hard or hard-extreme
I personally wouldn't mind a wide variety of difficulties, however something like that might be frustrating to newer players.
My solution: Make all the tiers available from the get-go. Maybe an extra prize for finishing everything
it would completely tarnish the system in place and throw consistency out the window
who cares lol, good idea drip
Similar campaign suggestion was posted here: https://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewt … p?id=35775
i guess i should've specified, this could include any widely-received levels that fit the (admittedly, loose) notion of "nostalgia."
yes, that is probably going to concern mostly basic-block levels, but i feel like even levels with game-changing packs like boost arrows could be decently long ago/potentially be included if they have a nostalgic feel to them
emal told me to post here
fun old levels (4-5 total?) made w/ old blocks, they dont necessarily have to follow a theme besides being well-received in the past.
potentially rising in difficulty so theres something for everyone (except extreme because lets have more than a dozen people beat this campaign):
1. basic
2. easy
3. medium
4. medium-hard
5. hard
maybe someone can group together 5 potential options for each tier and we can all vote on what would belong (community input is fun)
Iraka's 'jump jump jump' comes to mind for the first/basic tier. 300k plays, old as hell, maybe a 12-15 minute play-through if you haven't done it before
hell yeah
hummerz for mod
calm down lmaooo
thanks for the copypasta tho
this thread is not the ee i know and love. the rampant speculation tapered off way too quickly.
nvd's last revenge? julian ridley rising from the grave for one last hurrah? atilla activating the power gem in his infinity gauntlet?
tune in to the next staff resignation to find out
do you fold or crumple toilet paper before using it ?
this aged well

I can't see any advantage of killing it... As long a people are still playing it, and as long as it's not losing money (afaik it's still making a slight profit) what's wrong with it staying running?
ee's negative cash flow is what made chris leave, i really doubt that an exorbitantly smaller player base has improved the game's financial situation
Do you have a solid source for this info? Most later owners have at least mentioned profits, so I'm pretty sure they're not negative, probably just small (maybe it was after deducting his wage or something?)
asked him about it on kongregate during julian's hiatus. there's a pastebin somewhere out there but I'm not sure how i'd dig that up
I forgot all about seeing QRious. Was I there for this particular discussion?
nah, shiny and i stalked him into different chatrooms and he finally engaged with us, we begged him to kick out Shoe & come back lol
pretty sure i made a post about it on the kong-ee forums that included the pastebin link. been trying to dig it up for the past half hour but no luck. i remember there was a lot of interesting stuff in the conversation.

I'm really sorry about all the stress and everything but i wont deny that i love ee staff drama, thanks
hell yes
should've died after the candy update lmao
Goodbye Showpath/Jesse. You were both excellent staff members and I'm sorry about all of the stress the job gave you.
Thank you both again for helping me recover my account through a site transfer after so many other past staff members didn't want to get bogged down in the specifics of how to do so.
Best of luck with everything, and happy holidays
the best choice is someone willing to come in and spend the time and money necessary to convert to unity (& do a staff overhaul) while understanding there will be absolutely no return on their investment
the realistic choice is an optimistic member of the community that gets in over their head and resigns after we turn on them a few months later
Lol, bye Felicia.
...And Nvd is a stereotype Jew...
uh...pardon?
EEs 2nd biggest mystery: how an obscure game with a negative cashflow & no overhaul in sight continues to sustain itself
i have been trying for years to complete the tutorial campaign and am absolutely stumped here folks, please nerf this immediately. completely egregious.
dumb world dumb thread
yeah it's a bad level
