Everybody Edits: Project M
What is Project M?
Project M is a community based project that is designed to breathe livelihood into Everybody Edits Offline by offering new features and environments through the use of texture packs, block additions, and more.
How does it work?
This post will host multiple different swfs for personal use that will be edited in any number of ways.
What's the point? Why should I care?
For a lot of you, Project M is going to be a hub for things like texture packs and game additions, where you can download one and make your own worlds using entirely new graphics and features from what you can find in vanilla EE.
-----------------------------------
Happy Halloween! Finally, a new Project M update is here (and thank goodness, too, I was starting to tear my hair out lol). It sure has been a while, and there’s a lot of ground to cover. Hopefully you enjoy all of the new additions to Project M since last update!
• When using morphable blocks in the UI, you can now directly select which morph you would like to use (as long as you are not currently using the search function). Now it is no longer a pain to write sentences using the fridge magnets. Super huge thanks to HG for creating this new morph menu! All morphable blocks have been given a tag to reflect their morphable status. Shoutout to 2B55B5G TNG for suggesting that!
• The smiley menu has changed quite a bit! The smiley menu now has multiple pages, and you can switch page using arrows. Super huge thanks to HG, Zygan, and Seb135 for making this possible! Smiley variants have been added. Each smiley is now tagged for attribution. The order of smileys in the menu has been changed to something more sensible. - Speech Bubbles are a new way to give your world personality. Made by Cola1, these bubbles work largely as signs do, with a few changes. First, you can read these signs from quite a distance away. If you are close enough to a speech bubble, you can even read it through walls, as shown above. You can also read any speech bubble that is on the screen by hovering your mouse over it. Perhaps this could be a way for level creators to provide hints for players willing to explore less explored parts of the map.
- This update also introduces the Biohazard Effect. This effect makes it easy for builders to create moving hazards with fake players. With it comes three stages, much like the Voodoo Effect, which influences how powerful the effect is. Any player with the Biohazard Effect can swim freely through Toxic Waste, and has their Biohazard Effect removed when they swim in Honey, just like Poison.

- The three stages of the effect are in order as follows; Outbreak, Biohazard, and Pestilence. If you have the Biohazard Effect and tag a player who does not, that player will die. If you have Outbreak, you must directly be touching that player. If you have Biohazard, your range increases to a 3x3 area of blocks centered on you, and this area becomes a 5x5 block area if you have Pestilence, as shown in the image above. With this in mind, you can evil kill players through walls. Due to this fact, as well as the fact that fakeplayers with this effect can be moved using gravity arrows and boosts, the Biohazard is a very dynamic effect that can very well change the way hazards are used in levels. Special thanks to Seb135 for helping out with this one!

- In order to help creators make these hazards automatically, without the input of the player, this update also introduces Fakeplayer Manipulators. These items can be used to either create, remove, or reset fakeplayers. As always, only 10 fakes can exist at one time, thus you cannot create more than 10 fakes using these items. The Fakeplayer Remover can either affect one fakeplayer at a time, or all fakes at once. The Fakeplayer Resetter can only affect one fakeplayer at a time. If the Remover is set to 0, it will remove every fakeplayer at once, but if set to any other number, it will instead only remove or reset the Fakeplayer with the corresponding ID. For example, in the picture above, hitting the fakeplayer remover would remove Fake2, while hitting the Fakeplayer Resetter would reset Fake3. If the world does not have enough fakeplayers, the Fakeplayer Removers and Resetters will automatically affect the Fakeplayer with the highest ID instead. Big thank you to Seb135 for helping with this one as well!

• Builder’s Club Doors make a comeback in this update. They are opened and closed by getting the Builder’s Club Effect.
• Fast Time Doors and Slow Time Doors work like the already existing Time Doors. They open and close in animations of 2 states and 10 states respectively. Super huge thank you to KyYay for providing the source on making these work!
• Contaminated liquid is poisonous when you swim in it, poisoning the player for 10 seconds if they try to swim in it. Swim speed is pretty fast, comparatively, when you swim inside it, so make sure to swim to safety with this in mind!
• Fakeplayers can now finally collect coins that you have already collected, even if they haven’t collected them yet. Thank you to Seb135 for helping with this fix!
• Animal Antics time trials have been fixed.
• Switches now work properly in campaigns. Rip CTM2 cheese
• The UI is now purple! This was actually extremely hard and tedious to do, so I owe a huge thank you to Seb135 and HG for helping me locate all of the scattered places in the code where I could change each small part of the UI!
• Project M now has a new globe made by yours truly! The level featured in the globe is Project M Tutorial by RavaTroll.
• The lobby background has been changed, and now features the following worlds:
- Project M Tutorial by RavaTroll
- Dungeon Quest by RavaTroll
- Mini und Zoey by Minimania
List of known issues:
- Resetting Fake10 freezes the game’s viewport while you are on the Fakeplayer Resetter. It doesn’t even actually reset Fake10. Why does this happen? Seriously, why? What did I do to deserve this?
-
To do list:
- Some sort of easter egg or contest or something similar
- New Campaigns
- Rewrite the entire OP (In progress! Stay tuned!!!)

- Lovestruck Smiley by AmdS
- Lipstick Smiley by dcomet
- Groom Smiley from the Cut Content Archive by Toop/Brushfire
- Miner Smiley from the Cut Content Archive by Toop/Brushfire (originally by Cola1)

- Whereas last update introduced a lot of options for building, including Alphabet blocks for making messages in worlds, this update introduces the Fridge Magnet packs, which can be used to place messages in any of the 10 basic colors!
- Though sadly delayed, this update is still on time for Lunar New Year! This year, the festivities began on February 1st, and they'll end on February 16. This happened to coincide with Valentine's Day (on the 14th) and so gave me a good enough reason to add some things loosely related to the theme!

- Valentine's Day gave me a good excuse to add some packs with some really valuable gemstones in them, the Jewel and Gemstone packs! Loosely tied to these packs, the Gangue pack gives builders much more options when making stony environments, such as mines where you could find such gemstones! I'm sure you're probably wondering what the word "gangue" even means. Well, gangue refers to the commercially worthless stone and rock that precious gems and metals can be found within. This also ties loosely back into the Lunar Festival theme. At the start of the festival, those who celebrate tend not to sweep or mop, or even take out the trash, because it's seen as removing your own good fortune. So, by keeping the commercially worthless stone, we are keeping with the tradition!
• The lobby background has been changed, and now features the following world:
- Mini und Zoey by Minimania
List of known issues:
- Fakeplayers cannot collect coins that you've already collected, even if they haven't collected them yet.
To do list:
- Make it easier to collapse block packs
- Some sort of easter egg or contest or something similar
- Add a levels tab to one of these posts
- Make the Prismarine Package less ugly

Important Note: Regarding Project M, those who use Mac or Linux may find that the exe will not work using a program like Wine. Instead, if you wish to play Project M using either, you will have to download the SWF, and you can play using a Flash Player made for your operating system. You can download the one for mac here, and you can download the one for linux here. Otherwise, if your flash player isn't working, try downloading an outdated version of Flash Player, as the most recent versions of Adobe Flash Player came with a killswitch preventing them from working after Flash shut down.

▼Update 1.0.8

- This massive update adds a whopping 13 packages, an entire tab page in the block selector. It's no secret that Project M was made for the builders, so hopefully with all of these new assets, you'll all be able to have a lot of fun building brand new things! With the advent of the Alphabet Block package, it's now finally possible to spell out a full sentence using single blocks at a time (discounting modtext), so that's pretty exciting! Lastly, this update introduces the Cloudcastle package, the last package in a series of packs related by lore in Project M. You may have noticed a similar theming going on with the Prismarine, Lost City, Halloween 2021, and Cloudcastle packages. To put it shortly, the lore indicates that several ancient cities used to exist in the worlds; lost cities of gold, underwater cities, and subterranean cities that all eventually were lost to time. They used to trade amongst each other, but one day, something happened that led to the mass exodus of disappearance of those cities' populations. Rumor has it that they escaped somewhere into the sky, but where might they have gone...?

• Fixed the issue where searching for certain blocks by ID would produce no results. Big thank you to Seb135, Zygan, and especially HG for helping lead to a fix for this issue!
• Fixed transparency on the beehive package blocks. Finally. Seriously, why the heck did I not do this until now?
• The lobby background has been changed, and now features Dungeon Quest by Ravatroll!
Dungeon Quest
Big ups to Ravatroll for making such an amazing map, and also to Kirby for testing it! Download it, give it a try, and show them some love if you like it!
List of known issues:
- NPCs cannot collect coins that you've already collected, even if they haven't collected them yet.

- Some sort of easter egg or contest or something similar
- Add a levels tab to one of these posts
- Make the Prismarine Package less ugly

▼Update 1.0.7
It's Thanksgiving and Black Friday week! Hope you all had a great time!

- Dessert Package
• First two cakes by Toop
• Other cakes based off of Toop's design by Minimania
• Gelatin and lemon meringue pie by Toop
• Ice cream, waffle cones, and cookie by Minimania
- Fruit Package
• Blocks by SmittyW
• Apple and lemon by Toop
• Orange and cherry based off of Toop's designs by Minimania
• Banana by Minimania
- Snack Package
• Blocks and backgrounds by Minimania
• Decorations by Toop
- Breakfast Package
• Pancake, waffle, toast, sausage, and bacon by Toop
• Cinnamon toast based off of Toop's design by Minimania

• Eggs by Minimania
- Hamburger Gummy Candy Block by Hostage
- Orange smiley by Cola1
- Farmer smiley by Toop
- Dairy Cow smiley by Cola1

- A feast! In Everybody Edits, the amount of food-related blocks is quite limited. There's the Candyland package, the Restaurant package, and sparse decorations like those in the Summer 2016 and New Year 2015 packages. Previously, Project M just added a chocolate pack and expanded upon the Candyland package. Now, with everything in place, there should be no shortage of food for everyone to enjoy!
- Speaking of Thanksgiving, it's been an absolute blast working for and with all of you. This project has gotten me involved with and talking to so many amazing people in the community, both graphics artists and others, and it's gotten me to be quite closer with the community, and I couldn't be happier as a result. Thank you so much everyone for bearing with me and for giving me so much feedback! I appreciate it way more than you know. Pretty soon, it's going to be Project M's birthday. I wanted to let you all know I am definitely going to be celebrating!

• Fixed a huge issue where red and green coin doors and gates would not store their values when a world is saved. Huge thank you to Seb135 and KyYay for that one! Important: If one or more of your worlds have been affected by this issue, remove the glitched blocks from your saved worlds using Project M Version 1.0.6 first before trying to open them in Version 1.0.7. If you don't do so, your app will crash when attempting to open the world.
• When opening a world with Project M, files are now sorted to allow you to select either Project M levels or EEO levels. Thank you to Ravatroll for suggesting this, as well as to Seb135 and KyYay for assisting, and making this possible!
• The lobby background has been changed, and now features the following worlds:
- Beach Quest by Ravatroll
- Colosseum of the Gods by Addi
- Catacombs of the Eye by Ravatroll
List of known issues:
- NPCs cannot collect coins that you've already collected, even if they haven't collected them yet.
- Some blocks cannot be searched by ID for some reason
To do list:
- Make it easier to collapse block packs
- Some sort of easter egg or contest or something similar
- Add a levels tab to one of these posts
- Make the Prismarine Package less ugly
- You tell me! What would you like to see in Project M?
Special thanks to Seb135, Zygan, and KyYay for giving me such huge assistance while programming! Special thanks to RavaTroll, Zoey2070, Seb135, HG, Waamy, 32OrtonEdge32dh, Flowr, Alesmile, KyYay, JoeyC, 2B55B5G TNG, Filipwoj, Seby Bab, Aggron, CasualJoe, and Macandcheese for giving feedback!
Notice: Project M uses a custom file extension, .pmlvl and .pmlvls. Any world(s) saved using Project M will become .pmlvl or .pmlvls, and these worlds cannot be loaded into vanilla Everybody Edits: Offline. However, Project M can still be used to read .eelvl or .eelvls files.

- I have a lot of fun when it comes to talking to the community members who contributed graphics to this mod. In some cases, it feels as though I'm led on an adventure while looking for ways to contact the artists. Turns out Sleepy has an Instagram and a few other art pages floating out there on the internet, I highly suggest you check them out! With AmdS and Sleepy, I wasn't so sure I was contacting the right person at first, but catching up with them, at least a little bit, was always satisfying! I'm very glad I wasn't talking to an imposter!
- It made sense thematically to include the Voodoo Effect for the Halloween update, of course! But how does it work? Well, whenever a player with the effect dies, all players with the effect also die. Additionally, there are three tiers of power to the Voodoo Effect.
• The first tier, Hexed, is non-spreadable, and only applies to you.
• The second tier, Medium, is spreadable, so watch out! A Medium who spreads the Voodoo Curse to another player grants them the Hexed effect.
• The third tier, Voodoo, is spreadable, and is the most powerful version of the effect. A Voodoo who spreads the Voodoo Curse to another player grants them the same Voodoo effect.
• Added a new morph to Lost City bricks.
• Tab Pages now stack on top of each other vertically. Big thank you to Seb135 for this!
• The lobby background now features confetti, and the images have been changed to show the following worlds:
- EveryDayTheSameDream by Zoey2070
- Alien Planet by Addi
- Memory. by SebyBab (made using Project M)
List of known issues:
- NPCs cannot collect coins that you've already collected, even if they haven't collected them yet.
-
Special thanks to Seb135, Zygan, and LuciferX for giving me such huge assistance while programming, especially when coding in the Voodoo Effect! Special thanks to Grilyon2, Zoey2070, Seb135, HG, 32OrtonEdge32dh, Rat, Bitslayn, Alesmile, GameLover2020, Anch, 2B55B5G TNG, Minisaurus, Seby Bab, Water, Adeit, and JavierR100 for giving feedback! ▼Update 1.0.5
It's been a while, hasn't it?
• This update adds the following packages and smileys to Project M, all assets used with permission:
- Grid Blocks by EnanoTLL (based on the Grid backgrounds by Cola1)
- Lost City Package by Minimania
- Natural Package by Gosha, Mutantdevle, and Minimania (first four blocks were made with textures by Gosha, fifth one was made using a texture by Mutantdevle, 6th one was by me, all slightly edited by me)
- Red and Green Coins by Cola1 (Cola1's graphics used, I will discuss how the coins themselves work later on)
- Red Coin Resetter by Minimania (again, I'll go over how it works later)
- Black, Orange, Cyan, and Purple Spikes
- Explorer NPC by Anatoly (with slight edits by me)
- Daisy Girl Smiley by Rog456 (with slight edits by me)
- Cactus Smiley by Cola1
- Tree Frog Smiley by Minisaurus

- The new Lost City pack was loosely inspired by the mythical city of El Dorado, rumored to be in one of several locations, and by extension, the Seven Cities of Gold rumored to exist in New Mexico in the 16th Century. These were cities rumored to be of great riches and exorbitance. These cities attracted Spanish explorers such as Sir Walter Raleigh. As time went on, the stories of the Seven Cities of Gold and the stories of El Dorado blended together, as El Dorado has sometimes been referred to as one of the Seven Cities.

- Thematically, the new block package had to be extravagant and lavish. Blocks would have to be guilded, plated with extra material, saturated, or made into a pattern of some sort. Some of the blocks also had to look quite old, as to match the Jungle pack from the MrShoe era in its "aged" look. This led to a block pack that looked quite a bit distant from what we're used to seeing in Everybody Edits, so I made a few additions to the pack afterwards to help players looking to use them with other block packs.

• Plunder the Lost Cities of riches for their Red Coins! How do they work? Red Coins are Global Coins that can be collected by any player in a world, including Fake Players. So, if you or a fake player collects a red coin, it will be collected for every single player in the world. Since /reset only resets your character, and resetting a fakeplayer only resets a single fakeplayer, these functions do not work with red coins. If you wish to reset all red coins, you can use a Red Coin Resetter block found in the Tools package. Touching it will cause the red coin count to reset back to 0, and all red coins in the level will become uncollected again. Great for coin fiend worlds! Also, if you collect a red coin using a player under your control, the normal coin sound will play. However, if a player you aren't controlling collects a red coin, such as a fake player collecting a red coin off-screen, an alternate coin sound will play. This should help players know when a red coin is being collected off-screen.
• Find rare Green Coins along your expedition! How do they work? Green Coins are Bonus Coins that can be collected by hovering your mouse cursor over them, perfect for making minigames where you move your mouse. Collecting these coins produce the alternate coin sound effect, just like red coins do! Big thank you to 32OrtonEdge32dh for giving me the idea to use different sounds for "distant" coin collecting!
• You can now select previously hidden smileys in the smiley selector, such as the Zombie and Hologram smileys!
• Fixed an issue where Coral Reef backgrounds showed colors in the reverse order on the minimap.
• Implemented a fix for coins resetting when you reset a fake player, big thank you to Seb135!
• Tab pages now exist for a few pages beyond Number 4! Big thank you to Seb135 for sending me the necessary files for this!
• The lobby background now features confetti, and the images have been changed to show the following worlds:
- Landscape Long World by Loveawaits
- Chroma by 0176
- Demise by Unchi
List of known issues:
- NPCs cannot collect coins that you've already collected, even if they haven't collected them yet.
Special thanks to Seb135, Zygan, and LuciferX for giving me such huge assistance while programming, especially when coding in the coins! Also, special thanks to SirJosh, Emily, 32OrtonEdge32dh, Quitin, Mutantdevle, Macandcheese, Ravatroll, and LoganYoshi for giving feedback! ▼Update 1.0.4
Not so many updates this time, so I do apologize for being a few days late in this update.
• I've added in just a few new packages The following packages are now in Project M:
- Marine Package by realmaster32 (edited by Minimania)
- Coral Reef Package by Minimania
- Aquarium Package by Minimania (the bubbles were based on SmittyW's bubble decoration from the Adventure Package)
- Diver Smiley by Boba
- Sea Creature Smiley by Minimania
- Purple Dragon Smiley
• Cookies are now saved to a different channel than before. That means the cookies used by Project M are no longer shared with Vanilla EEO, nor are they shared with other EEO mods. If you unlocked the easter egg in EEO or any of the other EEO mods, you will have to re-unlock it again in Project M to use it there. This change was made to prevent cookie-crossing related crashes from occurring when switching between mods. Specifically, if you were to play an EEO mod and exit the game while wearing a smiley or aura that is not available in another mod or in Vanilla EEO, the client would immediately crash, and you wouldn't be able to play. Special thanks to Seb135 for helping fix this issue!
• The lobby background is actually aligned properly this time. Turns out there was no glitch; I was just a dummy when making the previous lobby images. Speaking of which.....
• The lobby background images have been changed to show the following worlds:
- A - halloweeny world by Zoey2070
- Deep Sea Meme Rig by 0176
- Subsetra Swim by Minimania
This update is definitely a little more hyper-specific than last update. "What's the point of this update?", you might ask. The point is exactly this: for the longest time in EE, it was seriously difficult to make underwater environments look right in the in-game EE art. I made a promise to remedy this, and so I went all out in making new packages to help make your marine biomes come to life.
Despite not a whole lot of new content being added to Project M this time around, the new graphics seriously took a very long time to make and get right. Even though the packages might look small from the block selector, they are actually quite large!
Since I don't have that much to show off, allow me to explain some of the creative decisions I've made with some of the assets of these packs. One of the biggest principles I used while making the Aquarium and Coral Reef pack is that I wanted them to be versatile, and to work with the other packs already in EE. I'd like to think I succeeded in doing so, but the way I went about it is that I took from the various blocks that are already in the game, and did my best to expand upon them. Here are some examples.
I'd always thought that the cobblestone from the fantasy package looked like Aquarium Gravel, so I made good use of its design.
Though not an exact copy, the Aquarium Sand's texture was largely made to look like the texture of the Sand Package already in game.
The lava block from the Environment Package already somewhat looks a bit like it belongs in a marine environment, particularly resembling rocks with coral in the cracks. I took this design when making the first four Coral Reef Package blocks.
The algae from the Coral Reef pack was made to look like the Fantasy Pack's grass block.
One of the fish from the Aquarium Package was made to look just like the fish from the Restaurant Package.
SmittyW's Adventure Package bubble decoration was used to make another decoration for the Aquarium Package.
One of the coral branch decorations was made in the same shape as the dead bush decoration from the Halloween 2015 Package.
Coral Reef seaweed was made to look just like the Fantasy grass.
Various assets from the new packages were made to be in the same shape as the Water Pack backgrounds.
The Aquarium sand backgrounds were made from the original Sand Package backgrounds.
A long time ago, in Project M 1.0.1, I shared with you all a teaser image. Perhaps to some of you it may look a little familiar.
I'd like to think that I've done a good job in making this teaser image fully realized.
Let me know if I did a good job or not! I tried my best, and hopefully with all of this in mind, the new packages can be as versatile as possible!
List of known issues:
- Page 4 is repeated (cannot be fixed very easily)
Special thanks to SirJosh, Rat, Boba, 32OrtonEdge32dh, Satanya, 905sarah, JoeyC, and KyYay for being helpful and forthcoming with constructive criticism. Feel free to leave any criticisms down below or in my messages.

▼Update 1.0.3
I'm a few hours late, but I've made several updates.
• I've added in several new packages, some being made by some seriously talented and generous people who have given me permission to use their graphics. The following packages are now in Project M:
- Pipecity Package by Cola1 (as well as the Pipec-ity block, included to honor Pipec)
- Ceramic Tile Package by Minimania
- Crate Package by Minimania (formerly known as the Box package)
- Adventure Package by SmittyW (originally from the graphics contest, yes this means intestine block is now in Project M)
- Plate Package by KyYay
- Ground Package by Minimania (and its associated grass counterparts)
- Prismarine Package by Minimania
- Timber Package by Minimania
- Generic Extension Package by Minimania
- Fez Smiley by Boba
- Conductor Smiley by Boba
• New colors were added for keys, key doors, and key gates, rounding the colors in the pack to match those of the basic block package. Additionally, each door and gate were edited to match the design of Boba's basic block redux package. This was already done last update, but the implementation last update was not up to par; the colors, saturation, and other design details regarding these assets were altered to more match the original doors/gates.
• New Effect: Fireproof Effect! - The visuals for this effect were created by Cola1. Having this effect will protect you from fire and lava! Jumping into water, mud, or toxic waste (if you have protection on) will cause this effect to go away. Originally, Cola1's suggestion was for this to strictly be a visual effect, but I took a bit of creative liberty and gave the effect a use. It's not quite as good as the protection effect, but I'm certain there are plenty of new minis you could build with this effect. Plus, the fire aura looks so sick with the fire smiley! Hope I did you proud with this one, Cola!
• New Effect: Random Effect! - This isn't really an effect all on its own; the Random Effect will produce any number of outcomes when you touch it, whether it be setting you on fire, making you a permanent zombie, giving you an extra jump, or even giving you the new fireproof effect. If you have the Protection Effect, you may have a small chance of dying when touching this effect. I look forward to seeing all the silly ways you could make use of this effect.
• There's now a Connected Mods section, where you can find links to other EE Offline mods that are spectacular. It's in the post below.
• The ? decoration has been remade from scratch so that it is not just a stolen asset anymore.
• The lobby background images have been changed to show the following worlds:
- Prop Hunt by Minimania
- Iroquios Elves by Skullz17
- Hardhat Vertigo by Minimania
• Project M now uses a custom file extension, .pmlvl and .pmlvls. Any world(s) saved using Project M will become .pmlvl or .pmlvls, and these worlds cannot be loaded into vanilla Everybody Edits: Offline. However, Project M can still be used to read .eelvl or .eelvls files.
List of known issues:
- Page 4 is repeated (cannot be fixed very easily)
- Lobby background image is misaligned, for some reason
Special thanks to SirJosh, Seb135, Zygan, 32OrtonEdge32dh, Satanya, Capasha, Magic, Doom, KyYay, and PookeyJ for being helpful as always. Feel free to leave any criticisms down below or in my messages.

▼Update 1.0.2
Everybody Edits Offline is now live, and I have made it my duty to provide you all with a finished EEO modded project by New Years time. It's been a very long week, and aside from eating, going to the bathroom, and sleeping, literally my entire week has been spent coding, approaching various artists, and doing graphic work for Project M.
As you all know, Satanya has become the new owner of EE. I'm super proud of her, and I look forward to everything she and our team will be able to do for you guys in the future. That being said, I also want to give you guys as amazing of an experience playing EE Offline as I possibly can, so I've taken many steps towards that direction. There are so many changes, so I'm going to provide a list.
• I have approached various graphics artists from the community, and they have graciously allowed me to use their graphics in Everybody Edits Project M. To be specific, the following packages are now in Project M:
- Beehive Package by Cola1
- Grid Package by Cola1
- Grass Package by Boba
- Polyester Package by Boba
- Stone Package by Boba
- Abstract Package by KyYay
- Red Panda Smiley by Zoey2070
• My basic block redux wasn't looking too well, so instead the basic block package, including all of its backgrounds, were replaced with Boba's Basic Block Package Redux. The blood block, gold block, void, and all of the doors and gates have also been remade with this in mind.
• There is a new liquid in the game, as part of the Beehive Package. Honey has a similar bouyancy and swim speed to mud, being slightly faster. However, it does not put out fire when you jump into it, though it does cure poison. Hope I did you proud with this one, Cola!
• Of my own works, the chocolate package is now in the game.
• The original red hat smiley meant for New Years 2010 is now available in the game as the New Years 2020 smiley. Wearing it gives you a red color on the minimap, similar to the police smiley's blue.
• Lobby background levels have been updated to the following worlds:
- Crypt of Kalbis by Kaleb
- Legends of EE by Master1
- Super Candy Hunt by Lictor
With all of this announced, it's sad for me to say that, unfortunately, I don't really have any super fancy images readily available to go alongside this post, and I wanted to make sure this got to the public before Everybody Edits officially died. It's been an extremely long week, but I want to give huge thanks to Seb125, PookeyJ, Capasha, Doom, and Charlie59876 for giving me such a huge amount of guidance and help in programming everything for you guys. I seriously could not have done any of it without them. I also want to thank SirJosh, Satanya, Zoey2070, 32OrtonEdge32dh, 905sarah, and all the rest of the people I've been hanging out with over the past week for being such a big motivator and for keeping me from going absolutely insane!

WARNING: Do not attempt to load levels made using Project M's assets into Vanilla EEO, or any other EEO mod, and do not try to load levels made from other EEO mods in Project M. Doing so will result in worlds not working properly and/or world corruption. It is highly recommended that worlds made with Project M are separated from non-Project M-made worlds. Loading worlds from vanilla EE into Project M works fine.
Important Note: Regarding Project M, those who use Mac or Linux may find that the exe will not work using a program like Wine. Instead, if you wish to play Project M using either, you will have to download the SWF, and you can play using a Flash Player made for your operating system. Big thank you to Filipwoj for pointing this out, and to Seb125 for helping me solve this issue in a timely manner.
Please let me know what you think; send in levels you've made, and report glitches you find. Thank you all so much for the support, and I'll see you in the next update!
▼Update 1.0.1
I've updated a few of the new packages, namely basic, generic, and all of the door and gates. There's also a new "null" block image.
▼Updated Graphics

No, the Builder's Club door isn't actually used in-game, but its image in the game files has been replaced. For fun.
I've also changed up the Lobby background images. The levels are Relics of Athena (PWbNLA2_00bkI) by Kingoftheozone, Meltdown at Calipses (PWRBAsMw6kb0I) by Commanderkitten, and Hyperion (PWyfcVaMLWb0I) by Lickagoat. I highly recommend playing these three levels in Project M, as they use a lot of the blocks that Project M changed. They're pretty fun, and not too tough.
You can play Everybody Edits: Project M 1.0.1 here, on my Sta.sh page, where you can also download the swf itself and do what you want with it. Feel free to give any feedback for the project, as I am always looking to improve.
Finally, please accept these images as teaser images for something I'd like to put out in the future.
Big thanks to Security-Drone for creating the updated EE globe, and to Minisaurus for the Halloween Blood block overlay. Special thanks to SirJosh, N1KF, Minisaurus, and Karl255 for giving me some very useful constructive criticism.
▼Update 1.0.0
Project M was going to be more of an EE Offline project, but with recent events, I decided to provide an early taste of what's to come. This swf takes all of the old "stolen" graphics from vanilla Everybody Edits and changes them to a new, original version.
You can play Everybody Edits: Project M here, on my Sta.sh page, where you can also download the swf itself and do what you want with it. Feel free to give any feedback for the project, as I am always looking to improve.
Big thanks to Security-Drone for creating the updated EE globe, and to Minisaurus for the Halloween Blood block overlay.
Planned for the next update:
- Updating all the doors/gates beyond just the key doors/gates
- Redoing the generic package in its entirety
- Reviewing the replaced graphics and making any changes as necessary
- This list may or may not be complete.
