Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Level seems rather annoying. Was unable to pass the first mini due to the ambiguous sub-quater-second window, the easily missed jump preceding it, 10 second delay between attempts, and lag. From spectating, the level looks fairly nice. I obviously can't comment on the minis of most of the map, but I'm guessing a lot of it is also quite luck based, which is indeed rather annoying.
Found what looks like an exploit in "3" so far.
What is considered a link to a PM? Is it the URL of the page when viewing a message? Is so, would it be theoretically possible for you to view random PMs by typing some numbers into forums.everybodyedits.com/pms_view.php? … &mid=#####?
Not that I have any problems, just curious.
I used to have the best signature (it'd randomly change, see: http://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewtopic.php?id=22240) but then I got bored of it and now it is my handwriting as a font
You have.... very nice handwriting.
OT: I'm too lazy to make an actual signature, as I can't think of a design I would be satisfied with. Don't quite remember what I had on the old forums. Now I just have a random statement which I've been unable to determine the accuracy of.
Mildly related- Are random short/useless posts such as "lol", "no", etc. spam warning worthy? And if so, could that be added too?
Can we call it yet?
FIGHT THE POWER
I made a thing. Not too difficult or long because I'm a nub, although I tried to make it not too tedious.
Basically this level consists of a number of small worlds with portals that you need to cycle through. Each time you pass through a square, your target portal for the next time you pass through changes, along with some of the minis. Each square has different action blocks to form minis, being standard arrows alone, fluids, boosts, and timers/switches.
Probably call it more of an idea map, since I'm to much of a nub to make something actually good.
That's probably a terrible description, much easier explained in the actual map.
General timeline of creation below
1. Be bored, have free time
2. Open free large world, draw 4 small world sized squares
3. Draw random identical shape in each square, insert portals, convert some stuff to coin doors
4. Insert minis
5. Exploits, exploits, exploits, replace some minis
6. Pretend to be done
Would it be possible to move heated off-topic discussions/arguments within threads to their own threads in the off-topic section, and simply let them have at it there? I'm going to be one of those people who say arguments are fun... Could also do with a general debates thread within off-topic with rules and whatnot to keep it serious businessssss.
To keep things clean(ish), could possibly try to get the community to brainstorm/sort out a number of topics to add within rules or somewhere as things to be strictly avoided in discussion.
Bloody tired right now, don't feel like thinking too thoroughly about those ideas.

Update seems great. Nothing I can complain about because I don't (can't) do art. Noticed that coin doors and gates were merged, as well as blue coin counterparts. Would be nice if portal and invisible portal were merged, since they perform the exact same function, and some people may have far more of one than of the other.
But then people would be able to figure out that I am the one putting random boosts in bosses or randomly hiding the acorn decoration.
You can already do that with /gbp. (/getblockplacer)
If you hold one the quick slot keys (1-0) while clicking a placed block, that slot is replaced with the block you clicked.
Why are the Industrial bg thingys not deco's aswell? that's pretty inconsistent
Supposed to look like plating or something. Fits better in background than in decorations.
But, we also have to consider people who go on hiatuses...
<x purchases and 0 activity within -time period-
write down the emails/passwords of alts
I had a computer switch and a house move during the period I didn't play, so EE alts weren't high priority. Plus, was younger and cared less.
But yeah... not sure how it would affect a database of accounts.
I'd suggest sending emails to inactive accounts....
Not sure how many people use accounts with actual email addresses that they frequently use, but seems like a good idea.
Anyhow, this idea is probably a little broken, due to potential problems that most people such as myself know nothing about. I can probably go find some other names for alts, but still would like the old ones back.
Wondering if it would be possible for certain usernames to be released back to be used. I would want this to be applied to usernames of accounts with maybe <x purchases and 0 activity within -time period-. We most definitely have a large amount of fully inactive accounts, and at least some of them may have "decent" usernames.
I am asking this because I remember creating a number of alternate accounts years ago with usernames I'd like to use again as alternates. Due to this game having no email verification, you can sign up with anything. I had used near-gibberish emails that I don't remember, and even if I did, there were atrocious passwords that can be easily forgotten in 4 years.
The portal rotation dictates the direction of your momentum.
Consider these two portals linked to each other.
If you enter the second portal on the right from the bottom with speed V upwards, (I think) you will be pushed out of the first portal with speed V going left.
Similarly, if I enter the first portal from the right, I will be directed upwards from the second portal.
The part with the quick or normal exit is also caused by this. A quick exit happens if the direction(s) of your exit is open space. A "normal" exit happens if the direction of your exit is blocked by a wall, as it nullifies any speed you previously had in that direction, and if you only had speed in that direction, the result is 0 at the instant of your exit.
In the picture above, regardless of what speed I have, if I were to enter the second portal from the left, it will be nullified from the block directly in front of the direction I would have exited from the first portal, so I simply fall.
Wasn't Omri one of the biggest shared accounts? Or am I confusing another?
