It makes no sense for proc to get the other mafia team lynched. It's beneficial to keep them alive. I could buy into it if someone else started the wagon, and proc joined later on. But, that's not what happened.

Proc spearheaded the wagon on taskmanager. When proc first started targeting taskmanager, he couldn't have possibly known task was another mafia.

I don't actually have a chance to properly post until midway through tomorrow. Considering the votes already on me, that's likely going to mean that I'll be lynched by default simply because I might not have an opportunity to reply to anything that's been said.

So, since this might be my last post in the game, I'm going to give some quick general thoughts.

Being wrong about processor doesn't mean I'm wrong about TaskManager. I still maintain that most of the reasons behind processor's lynch were flawed primarily in that a lot of the things y'all were claiming were scum tells were not actually scum tells. You just got lucky in that he did actually turn out to be scum.

I've not read anyone's reasons for voting me but I'm presuming the reason mostly boils down to "he was wrong about processor so he's scum". Such a reason should be heavily scrutinised for its obvious fallacy and I think it's a line of reasoning that is inherently opportunistic in getting me lynched. Obviously, this doesn't count so much for peace since he always bases his votes and reads on face value.

I think TaskManager and jawapa are not only scum but also on the same scum team. An explanation of this will be the focus of any further posts by me but I don't have time to go into that tonight.

If I had to give a definitive answer on the third person I'd say ele. But I'm also a bit suspicious of both buzzerbee and Onjit.

Peace is obvious town. Shadow, diff and crybaby also strike me as townie. 2B55 is mostly null but I kinda default that to town given my much stronger scum reads.

Mutant the fact that you defended Processor isn't the main reason you're being scum-read, at least for me it isn't. It's the situation in and of itself. Scum can easily come up and defending townies to gain the town credit, and since most of Processor's actions were generally read as scummy, your radical decision to defend them instead of letting them conceive their own defense to all the backlash is what is worth taking note of.

Because there are two scum teams, the idea that you defended a Scum, which makes you more likely to be a Unknowing Townie rather than a Defending Scum, can't be taken at that. As Crybaby has suggested, it is completely possible you're from the other scum team, and defended Processor to boost your own standings.

Also can I just mention how people say they're suspicious of me, but no one has actually questioned me on their suspicions?

Anyway, I'll probably do some research on Crybaby and Different in the morning. Gonna go to sleep soon, and would rather not stay up late creating a post.

personally i don't think that devle is scum for defending proc, he could be town just defending the wrong person. right now i'm okay with devle being lynched, but i'm not gonna do so myself because i'm not convinced that he's scum. i understand the reasons for voting for him (sorta) but i'm not really convinced

So, first of all, I would like to reiterate that I did not find jawapa's initial 'wasted' vote on peace to be scummy. peace is typical lynch bait that lynches tend to default to in the early game and I felt that jawapa's vote was just preemptively taking that stance. Whilst this is something I think could have scum motivation behind it, at the time it would have been impossible to discern this from town doing the same.

My second issue with jawapa was a combination of a few of his actions. It is clear from this post that he has a desire to take the game seriously:

Each of these 3 things are not particularly scummy by themselves. However, in combination with each other they made me suspicious of him. At this point in time I did not scum read him.

There was a game that me, task, and norboy were scum, and those two "fought" the entire game. Can't recall which game, but it was one if the gimmicky ones.

It really through the town off. Thought they could have been doing the same thing this game.

Idk if you've noticed, but the last few games I've been jabbing at people. Mostly the people that play on a regular basis. There's a lot of **** thats not scum/town based. The D1 thing is a very good example. Everyone complains about D1 **** posting, but everyone **** posts D1. I get tired of it being used as a defense for stupid ****.

That part of my post had nothing to do with my alignment. That's just me being salty.

Reference to the last game, where I was lynched as a vanilla townie, because I had no defense. I was told I wasn't trying hard enough to defend myself, and so I must be scum. But then, I was also trying too hard to defend myself, so I must be scum.

Again, nothing to do with my alignment. This is just stupid. I really don't know what you expect a vanilla townie to say as a defense. All they can do is share their opinions. They have no way of confirming their role.

Jawapa claims that one of the reasons he finds me scummy is that I did not respond immediately to the question of why I took issues with him. But here's the thing, at the time, he did not give a **** and he accepted my response that I would explain later.

He wooted my post where I said I would explain when it was more relevant and then made this post:

"cool" is not the kind of word I'd expect someone who was discontent with my answer to use. If jawapa really took issue with my response, why did he call me town immediately after? If he did take issue with it and thought I was town anyway, what made him think I was town despite it?

It was only after other people started criticising me for not answering the question that jawapa started to care about it.

I guess I'll go through posts and try to find another conspiracy theory.

The fact that he did not even at least reconsider his stance on me after Diff pointed this out to him is incredibly scummy. His belief that I had suddenly switched from task to norboy was the main factor behind his scum read on me. When he realised he was wrong about this, his reaction wasn't "huh, I need time to reread/reconsider mutant's actions" it was more "he's still scum, no exceptions".

This was what jawapa said about why he scumread me:

The post he links is where I explain why I didn't want to talk about jawapa yet and why I voted before task answered me. As we've established, he didn't have an issue with me not talking about him. So I guess what he finds scummy is my explanation of not waiting for task to answer. So what do you find scummy about my explanation jawapa? Also, what are my numerous posts that you found scummy? I'd love for you to explain why you still scum read me at this stage despite realising that all of the points that you had vocalised against me were invalid.

With norboy flipping town, it allows him to back off of his scum read on Task which he had planted so that the two would be less likely to be associated with each other if either of them were to flip.

Despite Proc being scum, I think that Jawapa (and Task's) approach to him was also scummy. In a standard game Processor flipping scum would have made me reconsider my scum reads on both jawapa and task. However, there are 2 scum teams in this game and I think jawapa and task are on the same one. I'll outline how Task's actions made me believe that jawapa was scum with him in part 4.

This is where jawapa originally asks Processor some questions. I later make this post where I also expressed a desire to have these questions answered after buzzerbee made this post. So at this point in time it is clear that a fair few of us want processor to speak up a bit more. This was proc's response:

After this, jawapa posts a fair few times. None of these posts contain any discontent for Proc's response. Ele asks a question to Prcoessor and TaskManager then asks proc a whole bunch more questions here. Before Proc has time to respond Buzzerbee makes this post:

BuzzerBee's comment causes peace to prematurely vote for proc immediately after. Ele then waits for a 12th hour before voting for proc. Ele either also missed Proc's response, expected an answer to task within 12 hours, or is just scum who was looking for an easy way onto the wagon (If I'm wrong about either task or jawapa then I think it'd be the third option). I think it is also worth pointing out that processor had not posted between ele's question and ele voting for him.

Following all this, Proc asks for clarification of the questions that he hasn't answered here. Buzzerbee responds immediately after.

Jawapa makes it clear that he did not miss Processor's original response when he says this about it:

As I mentioned earlier, Jawapa did not criticise Proc's answer when he first posted it and he had plenty of opportunities to do so. Instead, he waited until everyone was circling him to added fuel to the wagon that was building on him.

Processor then answer's Buzzerbee's post. Despite this, BuzzerBee, jawapa and Task all vote for him which pretty much seals the lynch. BuzzerBee claims that he didn't see Proc's response before the vote which I do believe due to the timings. Jawapa also claims to have been ninjad by Buzzerbee though his reason for lynch processor is instead that the quality of the answers isn't good enough. Task votes for processor not because he failed to answer his questions but because he also doesn't like the quality of his posts. Basically, it seems to me like task and jawapa were always gonna vote Processor either way.

So in conclusion Processor's lynch was a giant **** mess. People kept missing posts, gave no regards to Processor's activity and mistakenly believed that not answering questions was even a reliable scum tell. Fortunately, Processor happened to be scum. If Processor was more active and more observant of what was being asked of him then he wouldn't have been lynched. Any typically inactive townie could have swapped positions with Processor and they would have been mislynched. Though I suppose none of that matters since it worked out for us anyway (a "you could have died", "but I didn't" type of situation). The point is that jawapa's role in this cluster **** was to simply add fuel to the fire. His delayed criticality of Proc's answers suggests that he really didn't care about Proc's role or his answers and just capitalised on the opportunity to have him lynched for it. TaskManager also did this to a certain extent and ele gave Processor no opportunity to defend himself (but not in a townie way. In fact, reading back through all this has made me realise just how scummy ele's actions were in the processor lynch).

I had missed it. I think mostly because Processor and Peace's post blend together because their avatars are so similar and names both start with p, and the post where he answered was sandwiched between two peace posts
