Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I wish EE kept to its few original blocks to keep it simple and for the reason Gosha mentioned.
And then maybe introduce a new pack that would be available for 1,2 or 3 months and then removed from your account. But in meantime u can go crazy making worlds with that pack.
This never ending cycle of keep adding more and more and more blocks was harming for EE, like a lot.
rip ee 2011 :,)
Some t-shirts brainstorming ideas:
Cool... Was just sad seeing this game going nowhere for so many months. I hope everything goes smoothly and development gets back on track soon.
Does anybody else get annoyed how we can't know what staff is doing behind the scenes, like, is there even any progress being made? This was a problem in the past when people got upset for the lack of updates and for the silence from the staff. And when we finally got a response from them we find out how nothing was even happening for the development of ee.
So, what I'm suggesting is that staff makes a special topic on the forums where they write a short post saying what they have been doing for selected period of time - they should post maybe 1x a week or every 10 or 20 days.
Staff's Update Posts could include quick sneak peaks for the next update, maybe with some pics, building hype. The Posts could even be as simple as "We fixed 1 bug this week!" or as honest as "We did absolutely nothing this week!"
Just post something. And stick to the schedule... Maybe this way staff will feel more motivated or even disciplined to DO something. Plus it's a nice way to include the community, collecting feedback and opinions for the future updates. Staff shouldn't be so distant and secretive. It doesn't have to be this way.
WolfByte is a better name
Ikr. Wish he changed it to that, it sounds cool.

Currently coal is the most compatible isn't it? carbon blue is quite similar to EE helpers
Yeah I guess you're right... I missed it bcuz I'm already used to it, but I see how it might be similar...
The rank EE Helpers just needs a different kind of color, like this minty color.
Harder to see than radon...

No, bcuz I'm used to it haha
wow what the literal ****?
even though im often being toxic as well, that **** kick message is seriously **** me off
could i have the nickname of that retard for scientific purposes
Well yeah I guess, but I'll rather send you in PM.
Napakeun wrote:Radon is the green one? It contradicts with rank for Forum Mods.
no... forum mods are dark green
But... It's more or less very similar green. It's hard to tell apart, isn't it??
This is better than crews. +
AnatolyEE wrote:More then 2 people pls.
just use a crew
Well I think there should be an option for more than 2 people too (then this system could replace current crews system).
Yep. People are mean and rude.
I'm not sure why. Reasons could be... It's the internet, people here are young, dumb, maybe aren't aware they are being complete **** to one another. Or are being **** on purpose for their personal amusement or something, idk.
This is a kick message my little sister got when she was playing:
My sister didn't understand why she couldn't play anymore suddenly and called me to translate to her what it said.
This happened months ago btw.
Ummm Diff, why did you suddenly decide you have to remove one theme? It's better to have available many themes...
My default is carbon. After I switched I got used to it quickly and now I like it more than coal.
Carbon is currently the most compatible theme. All different forum rank colors are clearly distinguished.
Even if you changed rank for Game Admins to original gold color it wouldn't contradict with the forum theme (but it would with coal).
Radon is the green one? It contradicts with rank for Forum Mods.
BTW I think you should add the pink theme "cupcake".. it's good.
Another bad thing about ee:
Open worlds today are completely disregarded. They could be improved so much more, make them feel more "valuable". Now they are just hidden somewhere in the lobby... Many aren't aware of their potential, but I truly believe that if we give more attention to them, things could turn to the better.
And I'm talking about some bigger changes, where campaigns aren't necessarily a big part of a game anymore (though I still believe campaigns should be removed or reintroduced in a better system) but open worlds are the biggest part of the game or at least as equal to saved worlds.
Open worlds are special because if you build a "win to code" world, players know they have a chance of getting an edit code. However, the winning emotion you get after getting edit is different than in a saved world. Players are aware that the open world doesn't belong to anyone - no one has control over edit rights and there are no world settings. I think in this case players get a sense of freedom and it makes them feel more powerful as it takes only one player to troll the entire world.
Personally, I enjoy taking the risk of my open world being trolled, honestly. It gives me thrill and excitement to play. And when it does get trolled, I think to myself what a great play time session it was, leave the world and just move on you know.
Open worlds are meant to be born and die anyway. It's a circle of life :3
I doubt that’s the actual reason new players are leaving. Yesterday I was talking with a new player who was shocked about the edgyness and negativity a lot of players have. He wasn’t able to talk to anyone but me because everyone was being rude or ignored him. Getting to know the community is a must if you want to play the game for a long while, because otherwise it will become boring with or without campaigns. When no one wants to talk to you or calls you out for being a noob there’s no reason to keep playing the game. The community has been like this for a while and I know some people have tried to change it, but that’s so hard to do.
That's what I noticed too, similar thing on the forums.
The way the campaign system is designed is kind of flawed so I never really liked them.
Campaign system should never happen if you ask me :/ Instead, there should be an advanced world searcher for offline worlds with ratings and user reviews etc. Not saying it's easy but this would be ideal probably...
I like playing in the browser, because you don't need to download and install anything (I'm not using Steam much anymore).
Nice post, I agree with everything you said.
The main thing that irritates me the most in this whole unity mess is that nobody says or talks about anything regarding to it. Staff, whoever is in charge, just constantly tries to avoid it and tries to distract with lame updates like adding more block and smileys to the game.
Even this topic discussion about fanboy 3, yes it's nice of staff to ask for community's opinion, but that definitely shouldn't be a top priority, worrying for another smiley whether should be added to the game or not.
I remember way back in time the staff asked for community's opinion for unity's new lobby redesign ideas. Now, there were some amazingly great suggestions. This shows that community does care a lot but staff somehow can't organise this whole thing because nothing came out of that thread again, just lost and forgotten.
Firstly I'd like to know when, why and who decided to remove the ability to get Fanboy 1 & 2. As the name of the smiley suggests, the (ultimate) fan smiley is for the (ultimate) fans of the game.
I was fortunate enough to get the chance so I made and sent the postcard/letter with a stamp and everything to that address to get Ultimate fan and later made an artwork for fanboy 2.
So yeah, it's unfair to players to not be able to even get a chance when they are "fans" and care for this game enough to do these simple tasks. But no, they aren't allowed to because they joined to the game later in time? :/
Secondly, yes there should be a fanboy 3 to complete this nice trilogy (and no more fanboy smileys after that)
For the Fanboy 3 I didn't think of any clever way to obtain it, I just thought about making it as an award for daily log in bonus at 100 days or 365 days or something.
Also I want to say it's nice of you to ask the community's opinion on this.
Maybe staff didn't ask because they thought Aoitenshi isn't active in game.
Clicking on world keeper should display a message what it even is so it's not confusing for people. If this bot is just a temporary solution this isn't very necessary.

can you be more specific?
Did anybody even look at the topics or seen Anatoly's posts?
Woot number doesn't match an actual amount of woots some posts have. Look at Anatoly's example. You might take a closer look at the topic, Anatoly's post is talking about my post, which is wrong. The stats page is correct.
Yeah i was talking about your post.

This idea crossed my mind too and I think it's quite useful.
This is good for stickied topics, organized groups (for crews), complex and big topics that usually need frequent updates on the first post.
Here are some instances where it would be useful:
Suggestion Masterthread by Creature - this project probably died because there's too much content for 1 user to put together.
Guide to EE by Anch - nobody probably reads this but doesn't hurt if it gets updated once in a while? no? (if not just unsticky it then)
All the Shortcuts, Hotkeys & Commands Ingame! by EDJ - very outdated... anyway here's a nice list of all commands (sorry for self promotion here)
Staff Emails by phinarose - as we know staff members come and go so this topic should not only get multiple ownership, but it should get stickied as well!
Everybody Edits Loadscreen Archive by TOOP - we get new loadscreens from time to time you know that and TOOP's no longer here...
