A & D are the ideal options for teeth, but A looks better when scaled to 24x24 pixels in my opinion, but both are acceptable options
I consider either A & C optimal for the smiley graphic
For the moment A is the option selected for the in-game display but remember the staff is very atttentive for all the community requests and complains, so is up to the community start requesting changes or additions to EEU from EE (And doing critiques & feedback is very important as well)

Remember guys that the priority in quality is based on how the item displays in 24x24 scale
Everything in the middle is duplicated in mirror (so it is two pixels of the same) for example, the middle teeth looks instead like a double pixel teeth (very big teeth), further discussion of this can be considered
Note.1: As you can see, in the comparison for the jaw shading options, the teeth look very vanished in 24x24 scale, almost imperceptible (intended as so), the only function of the teeth is to be details for the more zoom vision of the game, I am willing to do changes to those if you guys request for it, for the moment above I have shown options for teeth, tell your thoughts
Note.2: I know there are some very favorite smileys in the community and I am afraid that some of those smileys are instead going to be used in other ways in the game that I can´t currently tell because of the NDA, so what I am willing to say instead is that for any favorite smiley you guys do have and would like to see in the game, you should ask or insist for those to be added to EEU otherwise there is no way for the staff to know if the community want something that is currently discarded by the staff
Note.3: I have discussed with Xenonetix the chances to tell the community what smileys will be not added (or the staff is unsure to add) to EEU, so the community can be aware of these and can start to request those discarded graphics to be reconsidered by the staff to be added to the game

I also agree that the teeth in that original version don't look right once you notice them. However, I'm not able to effectively judge the alternatives given as they are too large to see how they'd look at a standard smaller scale.

As mention previously, the display in 24x24 for the teeth in this case is certainly irrelevant as these are almost unnoticeable in that scale
The major importance here is how they display in large size (for detail purpose)
Teeth are meant to add further detail addition for large scale of the smiley, not meant to be seen in reduced scale (the less visible the teeth are in small scale, the better)
PD: I even consider that there could be two different files, one for 24x24 & less and other for larger scale so EEU can take advantage to 100% of the small details in large scale without losing quality in smaller scale (most of the little details are blurried in smaller scales of the graphic, so it is very possible that they will display incorrectly while scaling, as so small details are in most cases avoided)
Teeth is a nice little detail addition to the devil skull smiley, so its would be very helpful if you guys can give feedback for them in case you think that changes made for the teeth might be beneficial for the graphic (As said, options are displayed in my post above)
There are two options, one is to have the teeth with symmetry and other to have them asymmetrical, I have discarded asymmetrical teeth (The composition of the graphic is very compromised if there is asymmetrical teeth), so there are only symmetrical options
Sadly if there is no teeth in the middle (in the upper side of the jaw or the lower side of the jaw, whichever), the smiley looks very likely an hippo lol, and as said, the middle teeth looks like a very wide teeth in 24x24 scale, that is the uncomvenient of having an "even" number scale for the graphics (24x24 instead of 25x25) but it in the other hand it scales much better (in 24x24)
Btw: I have consider the amount of teeth as well for the 24x24 scale, that is why they are separated and they do not have more advanced shapes or shading as that might cause increased blur in that scale, the amount of teeth can be decreased but not increased, as that is the maximum amount of teeth before the graphic start to get blurry in 24x24. I consider that the max amount of teeth is good for the purpose of the graphic, a demon skull
In other case, for example, for the human skull, I have not added any teeth for it, and if I would add, those would be less sharp and more human-like (I would consider for this skull type less teeth to be convenient)

Doing my own maths I calculate that there would be like around only 8 smileys from EE that hasn´t been made for EEU (Or partially hasn´t been made for EEU) due ethnicity & cultural & quality factors but that is just my own maths, might be wrong
I won´t tell what smileys has been discarded by the reasons above, but I can tell that it is very possible that some of the smileys remade for EEU are going to be discarded, so the number of EE remake smileys discarded for EEU might be even more than just 8ish, and that is when the community could request to the staff to add to EEU the discarded smileys based in EE

This is kind of baffling - she's outright said EE! will be "a new game altogether that serves not as a port to Everybody Edits, but rather a spiritual successor", so how could worlds be transferable? How long ago was that quote from?

Reposting my clarification from the EE server: 60 blocks does not mean 60 types of blocks, if that makes sense. No need to worry about EEOld's 500-foot-tall-wall-of-blocks returning to EENew. At least not right off the bat with these first two packs.
