Post anything leaks or anything about future updates you hear from the staff

Here's a compilation of stuff known about EE! Note that this is a few months outdated. It also uses the months provided are based off the forum posts, and might be off by a few months.

Here's a compilation of currently known graphics (including two normalmaps):

Lighting

Satanya woots forum post wishing for lighting blocks (2021 October) and says that "chances are yes, but no promises", giving examples of decorative street light, spotlights, lightbulbs, or festive lights (2021 December)
Ambient lighting "ensures no block will be pitch black", likely configurable. Will make EE! look "more like EE but with world lighting" (2021 December)
World lighting is configurable in settings. You can have a world in evening or early morning, for example (2021 December)
It's "possible to make a pitch black world" (2021 December)
No hard promises besides daytime lighting customization (2021 December)
Ninja normalmap revealed (2022 April)

Zoom

Satanya "thinks the default zoom will be 2x", but isn't too sure yet (2021 June)
Zoom "might depend on your resolution" (2021 June)

Blocks

There is a "need to pretty much make equivalents for all EE blocks" (2021 February)
The first two block packs are the "biggest of EE in general", with "60 blocks or so (including decos and stuff)". Those are considered the "smaller ones". (2021 February)
EE! has "not a single blue block in the game" (2021 June)
Autotiling (2021, May)
Autotiling applies to some decorations. Some like fences do, but others aren't meant to. (2021 June)
Autotiling applies to backgrounds "for blocks with autotiling" (2021 June)

Basic

Red revealed (2021 May)
Yellow revealed (2021 June)
Normalmap revealed (2021 October)

Nature Pack

There are at least two pink flower decorations (2021 February)
The name of the Nature Pack is visible in a development screenshot. (2021 March)

plus, nobody makes updates that quickly. to gain enough momentum to implement anything new, but on the flash... right before converting to unity... doesn't make a ton of sense.

unless they don't know unity coding so they just keep converting and fixing errors repeatedly

I haven't compiled anything in Unity in a while but I'm pretty sure they don't use a logo with an FB.

We are writing game in unity from scratch. Converting and fixing errors would be just bad. And if we didn't know how to work in unity we wouldn't be moving to it. I feel really comfortable working with it. Especially ui work is much more fun.
Adding features from this update won't even take more than few minutes since its mostly just new items. We will have different bugs (never can escape them) and other systems have to be written from scratch.
You should believe a little bit more in our programming skills.

I've never played EE on Console before. I've played with controller but that was just mapping keys.

Thanel gives no clear answer, which hints further that these may be smileys that are added in a future update (either that, or just a clever April Fools' Day joke).
