I believe Jawapa's claim. From a statistical perspective, Shadow has a 75% chance of being scum of some sort. Though, if Shadow is mafia, then I'm pretty much sunk, as I doubt anyone is going to believe what I have to say after he flips.
Since there are decent odds I'll get game ended on the second night, I might as well just say what's on my mind.

Not at all. The reason I believed there were three mafia members was because of how Minimania worded the mafia goon on the OP:

Goons are referred in plural here. This made sense to me as one mafia PR + 2 Goons seemed more logical from a balance perspective than one mafia PR and one Goon. Truth be told, I should have paid more attention to the roles and the setup, but I genuinely thought that the game was just going to be a standard mafia game so I found little use in paying much attention. All I can really say is I'm sorry.

Sorry, but even now I think that a hypo cop strategy could have worked, provided it garnered more public support, which it didn't. Of course, the strategy had drawbacks and ways it could have gone wrong, but you need to take a couple of risks if you want to reap the potential rewards. Perhaps I am being dumb, but that is what I believe.

From my standpoint, they'll attempt to counterclaim me to mislynch me, in which all they'll have to worry about is the Cop, which they can easily convert tomorrow.

I wanted Gabe to be lynched D1, because I didn't like their attitude into the day. But the Andy wagon was farther along, as you said, and 1, I believed that Andy could be scum, and 2, I believed that a flip should occur to give us information on anyone if possible.

If my defense of Luka was suspicious, then so be it. Luka was being tunnelled by everyone, and I find that when people begin to tunnel on someone is when they make misplays and end up lynching someone. Andy was being tunnelled on too, but I found them ultimately more suspicious than Luka.

This post is one of the reasons i had 0 doubts about Jawapa fake claiming. Because it’s consistent with his scumread on Luka expressed when he revealed cop.

Yes, I know, jawapa. That was the gaffe on my part. 2 goons seemed more reasonable than one in a 13 player setup, so when I read "goons" I just assumed it meant two, but because of my previous mafia experiences I immediately knew that there couldn't be any more than 1 of every PR.

Why wouldn’t they just not say anything, and then kill/convert the cop?
It sounds to me like you’re setting up a narrative about mafia fake claiming just to "get you", because you know the real vig will come out.

Truth be told, I **** everything up royally. I am a townie, but my actions scream scum. I don't know how I've grown to become so moronic, and there's nothing I can do about it but try and salvage what I can.

I'll try to be active and to share as many reads as I can so that I could maybe have some use after I'm dead.

It depends on who the Mafia is. Technically they don't have to counterclaim me. They could just end up getting rid of both of us tonight.

I don't particularly think any of the Mafia will be dumb enough to counterclaim me. But personally, I'm hoping one does, since it would give me a big hint on who I would shoot tonight.

It'd be an obvious thing to claim from his perspective, assuming that Jawapa's cop claim is truthful

I made an earlier post to TaskManager that gives a precedent to work off of. Any player targeted for a night action will have that action happen to them, with only two exceptions. Nurses have priority over any kill, and Serial Killers have protection over any Mafia action. Thus, if a Vigilante targets the Milk Man, and the Milk Man targets anyone else, the Milk Man will die and the person the Milk Man targeted will become a Mafia member.

That’s where the strawman is. I didn’t want to end the day early D2. I wanted to say that if we end the day early D1, the next day we’d just be at the same spot we’d left off at from D1, except with 3 less people.
