Aside from the innocent child, the possibility for any role to screw up always exists. Cops can investigate someone who ends up dying that same night, vigis could end up shooting someone innocent, and doctors could end up saving a mafia's life from a vigi bullet.
That's the inherent risk of being a power role; you risk making things worse for your faction, and using what as grounds to lynch someone is pretty stupid.

Why in the world would we lynch Norboy over Taskmanager? By lynching Task we will know for sure whether mutant is mafia or not. I dont like how people in my scum list are trying so hard to discredit mutant.

This is the plan: cops, d2 investigate the person below the person you investigated last night.

We lynch task, if he flips town we lynch mutant and then norboy
If he flips mafia, we lynch norboy.

I also dont like how crybaby has roleclaimed cop without it being really needed, he has just confirmed that mutant is a cop. Also mutant gets faction+role but crybaby only gets role? If task flips mafia we should also look into crybaby potentially being mafia.

Okay so apparently I 50% trust Mutant’s claim about TaskManager being a Mafia Roleblocker, and I’m almost certain that Kirby’s investigation on Norboy is true. But I’m not sure about Crybaby’s investigation.

I think if Mutant is mafia, he wouldn’t sacrifice himself just to eliminate TaskManager, as Mutant is a very strong player. Sacrificing a strong mafia member just to eliminate a weak PR isn’t really worth it, so that’s one of the reasons why I think Mutant is genuine about his investigation.

But then I realize that roleblocker can be both town and mafia, Mutant could easily frame TaskManager using that role, so now I don’t fully trust his investigation, as Mutant could be mafia trying to frame Task.

The reason why I trust Kirby’s investigation is because he didn’t say both Norboy’s alignment and role, and of course he won’t because it’s impossible for a cop to know both things in one investigation.

I’m unsure about Crybaby. I think in common sense, it should be wise for the last cop to not reveal themselves. If Crybaby realized that, I think he wouldn’t post his results and claim, plus he was unsure if Mutant was mafia, so it was a bit weird for me.
