You can equip pets (buy from shop; equip in fame/lobby) they just walk around you. (Like in “Hungry Shark” for example) maybe every pet has his abilities? You csn equip up to 3 pets.

They are ca 1.66 times smaller than the default smiley.

Owner can set Pets limit.

In campaign worlds they are only visible to you.

Fun to add:

When pets of different owners cross, spawn hearts??

But other than that shark game you were talking about the only game (Or game creating platform rather) that has games with pets that walk around and give you boosts. As far as I know atleast. It's literally just roblox. Like currency is just a basic thing for games. But we're not talking about some thing that helps you progress by buying better weapons or a car or whatever, this is about pets which you only see in roblox.
