would like to see some sort of block design in EEU like the idea the staff has wiht smmileys instead of gettign grass block you get the grass it self and the ability to reoclor it and add it to every block you want

With CRPL EEPL (Everybody Edits Programming Language), we can do various things, not just adding custom blocks, but specifying their properties!
And EEPL could be used as creating custom triggers to activate custom doors and gates!

Excuse me, but EEPL actually stands for Everybody Edits Programmer Land.

Jokes aside, considering the extensible and permissive sandbox ambient, the game really doesn't need it's own "programming language", it will inevitably cause undesired restrictions.

We don't need custom blocks, we've already seen a lot of abuse of them during the Design Contest itself, and will keep being the case.
If you want to be able to test your blocks properly before putting them forward for consideration, go host a private server. That's what I've been using EE CM for.

Put your own blocks isn't the best thing and I completely agree.
But that doesn't means EE can have others good things like this idea, to add more variable designs of worlds.
Like Sensei1 already suggested, and I go deeper into the idea because for me, the world creators community is one of the most important to EE; so, allow people to change the block color, or give more block options or block texture would be perfect to create more worlds with more variety and new in-game art to the game.

Reminder that one of the teams in that contest uploaded **** into their blocks, which is why they haven't already implemented this system.
