Alright xeno I think it's about time you said something. You clearly love to call people out like this so it's only fair it's done to you as well.
People are complaining that progress shouldn't be locked behind a paywall, are you going to say/do something about that?

So it's not a problem that the information is getting out, but just the videos...
Other than maybe you wanting your voice (literal voice) to be unknown by people, I've no clue why the video itself matters enough to be such a critical thing to keep away from the eyes of the public, especially knowing you're okay with the transcript being seen by non-patrons. Why is this such a big deal?

Lemme be more clear, I spent money on gems I transferred them to frix. Frix didn't want them, give them to joey. Now xenonetix is refusing to give them back to me. Thus I lost 5 bucks worth of gems.

Why did you get your gems transferred to an user that didn't want them in the first place? This is a silly mistake of yours, and a waste of time for staff.

Ahhhh Xenonetix... Your work on EE has been great, and starting a Patreon was a great idea. If some people want to pay money to support EEU's development, hell I'm not going to stop them. I love the sense of direction you've given, and you're obviously a very talented person who knows what they're doing.

But goddammit Xeno you can be really immature sometimes. It happened with the whole "checkpoints don't alter difficulty" thing, the egg hunt, and now this. It's okay to have different opinions than others, and it's okay to share them, but why do you have to be so childish about it. Seriously what did you expect making patreon exclusive videos (which by the way, contain less information than bytearray's youtube dev logs). Did you really think they wouldn't have been leaked? How did you not prepare for this?! And why make a forum post about it, like what was the point of this? This could have been handled without making it a public matter.

Everytime you do something like this, I lose a little bit of faith in your ability to handle the community, and that will be a crucial skill going into EEU.

This community shoots itself in the damn foot every time a dev gets witch-hunted, and hating on Xeno sounds like a bullet to the head.

The distinction between posting the video/audio, and a transcript of the audio, is clearly important to Xeno - and yeah, I’d be **** if I shared a video selfie to a select few and it got leaked. God forbid he puts a little faith in people who are paying to support the game, and then reacts when they abuse that trust.

He should’ve been a little clearer about that rule, but the way this community overreacts about every little goof makes it seem so freaking ungrateful sometimes. Stfu and let the man work.
