I really like this idea. I'd assume there'd be a small little energy bonus for completion of each world too which the noobies would appreciate.
I think the main benefit of this is that it would allow new players to learn a little more about the game as each update world would act as a mini tutorial and advertisement for what's new. That way, we wouldn't need to add a new tutorial world every time there have been a few updates that add game-changing content.

It'd be tedious trying to get to up to date update worlds if you just start the game, and the newest update world is tier 10+

i woudl rate this easy-medium at most as someof the update worlds can become quite annoyin gsometimes give a reqward that has somethign to do wiht that update if possible (for NPC update give 1 smiley npc)

What about giving them in the end an update lamp? Glows yellow when a new update is coming today. Glows red when there’ll be update this week.
