I'm pretty sure we figured out spike minis are bad 5 years ago. Theres no need to fill the campaigns tab with spike campaign after spike campaign. Could we have more campaigns with real minis that are difficult?

I think the point of having these campaigns is so that people who like these types of worlds have a save feature, so to make the worlds more feasible.
That being said, I think you're being a bit dramatic here. Regular campaigns easily outnumber these spike campaigns, by a lot. There are only 4 extreme campaigns, and only half of those can be classified as "spike campaigns"

Unpopular opinion: I actually find spike minis fun.
I'd take extreme spikes over extreme arrow minis any day.
That said, I doubt I'm ever going to beat any extreme campaigns.

Popular opinion: Spikes are the best thing that happened to EE because they add an instant, unambiguous, and compact failure condition that allows for more creativity.
Problem with arrow reset after meeting a failure condition: it takes too long and can look confusing
Problem with portals acting as spikes: it's hard to tell if the portal makes you lose or not sometimes

You can see what you must do instantly but the spikes require you to attempt it multiple times. Whereas normal arrow minis, you need to learn the mini, understand the mini, breathe the mini.

Not every spike world is the same though, there are genuinely good and fun spike worlds in EE and you can't just dismiss and entire genre of worlds on the mere basis that you don't like the campaigns that use them.
