Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

for hide & seek i see but it'd be better as an effect that hides your name tag, so that you can still see other players' names when in lobby
but honestly i dont think the whole hide & seek concept will get popular even with this, we still need decorations that would be actually good for hiding

You can out run zombies.
Give zombies mobility-enhancing power-ups (levitation and speed), offer them zombie-only health stations as a reset timer to avoid dead zombies.
Example of a shortcut/timer reset:

Why not just replace the protection effect with an anti-zombie effect, and just remove the anti-protection effects?

If we should talk about hide and seek we should also talk about ways to actually HIDE effectively without being spotted easily like a whole block that covers all the tags and usernames and smileys but you can see yourself so it will be fairer for the hiders because when you go in skull you can still be a part of the smiley peeking out so a cover block would be nice

there is already a feature in which you can disable ingame usernames.

True, but this is for the individual player, and cannot be forced onto them as a mechanic of the level. This requires that all the users trust each other to turn off usernames, which is not likely to work properly.
