Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

If all of that failed, it could be a Flash bug. You should try reinstalling Flash.

Every time when I see these type of topics I immediately think of lag.

Hey Liynx,
What browser and what operating system do you use?
I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

I have the same issue, tried different kinds of browsers (firefox, chrome, microsoft edge and more) and several computers. Flash is properly installed, everything else is as well.
However, after the loadingscreen it just goes black. Same situation for every version of it. Also, windows 10. Lots of reinstalls, reboots, and quite a few other things later it still won't work.

Are you using HTTPS? HTTPS always screws up EE for me.

Won't work with HTTPS, neither will it with HTTP. But eh, I'll try to work it out after a nights sleep instead.

Do you have any special firewall rules in place on your computer, router, modem, or any device in between? Is your internet censored in any way? Are some websites blocked? Some firewalls can strip vital information that EE uses to communicate with its servers.

what would I be looking for in my firewall settings?

System 32.
No, sorry. I think you will have to clear your memory so you can reduce some lag and hopefully that will work.
Have you ever tried Exe version of EE?
Offline
what would I be looking for in my firewall settings?
Anything that would be blocking any domains, specifically *.playerio.com or *.everybodyedits.com. Do you have a whitelist of domains that you are allowed to access?

Not sure, I will have to check. So i'll get back to you on that one.... and yes prodigy, I did run the exe. not even that works.

Try clearing your DNS cache or maybe reset your router? Tends to work for me.
Lame!

Just tried clearing out the DNS cache, and that didn't work either.

Try downloading a virtual machine, https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/m … s/#windows , download VirtualBox and follow the instructions to set it up. I know it's a bit overkill, but if it doesn't work, then there must be something wrong with your internet, otherwise if it does work in the vm there's something wrong with the software that you have.
