Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I think it's harder to disarm someone with a knife. Reason being, there is nothing to grab and twist, unless you want your hand sliced up. Then you wince in pain, letting go, and you get stabbed to death.
I should have been more clear,
This is what I meant. If you have a gun, you don't need to be so close to the target, so they don't have a chance to disarm you.
Of course, if the assailant is right in front of you, then it is easier to disarm a gun.

I don't really see a point in banning guns or w/e. If people really wanted to kill others, they could do it whether they had guns or not. Anything can be used as a weapon, even water.

Let's ban water.
And after that, lets ban:
Chairs
Rope
Sissors
Trapshooting
Hunting
Chemistry Class
Fish
Fried Fish
Fists
Humans in general

While I'm in favor of guns, water doesn't let you kill someone while staying safe from retaliation far away.

I'm confused.
You can use anything to murder. Even air.
What's the point of banning if people just find workarounds.

Because it's a lot harder to kill people with air than it is to kill someone with a knife or gun or hammer or pointy stick. Is this a trick question? Using this logic we might as well not ban anything and not have any restrictions of any kind because people will find ways around it. EMBRACE THE ANARCHY.

You probably ought to own a gun if you are in a country where everyone has guns, I live in England and it has never come across my mind to get a gun because nobody here has a gun and those who do are farmers or kids who spent their money on a gun but don't know where to get bullets; I'm trained with the SA80/L85A1 and would probably get a similar rifle if I were to move to America - of course if nobody had guns it would be better but there isn't a realistic solution in America.
Carrying around weapons outside of homes and allowing concealed weapons are things that should be changed.

it's not
think about it
let's say the united states banned guns so only security guards, the police force, and the military have access to it
will you see a drop in murder?
will people stop getting killed?
murders are usually done through revenge
are you going to think they're going to stop killing if guns were banned?
of course i understand and respect your opinion, but banning guns would do more harm than good

Once again, look at countries like the UK where guns are banned
Lo and behold, murder rates have dropped

It's not because it's not going to fully solve the problem that banning guns would do no good. By banning guns, the task of acquiring the murder weapon would become more difficult. By making it harder for someone to kill a person / acquire a gun, murder rates and accidental deaths would go down.
And for those saying "if we're going to ban guns, why not ban ALL weapons?", shooting someone is probably the easiest way to kill a person. Imagine if instead of guns, everyone had axes; try commiting a mass murder (or just killing a single person) with an axe, won't be as easy. Let's reduce murder rates one step at a time.

It makes me very anxious walking on the street knowing a lot of people are carrying guns. I'm happy guns are illegal in my country.
Pm me with anything math related please

In the mid 90s there was a mass shooting in Australia. Over the next nine months heavy gun control laws were discussed, and enforced. There hasn't been a mass shooting since.
Coincidence?

Guns do make killing and able to be done by more people than using a knife, object or another attack.
In England I don't own a gun and think I could kill someone with a knife - if I had a gun I could easily get a few bullets into someone without anyone able to stop me fast enough.
Planned attacks probably don't have much of a difference between countries because you would kill someone with whatever means, but guns do make it easier - you don't need the strength to stab or hit someone.
