Omg finally ..... I hated that darn system. Players only wooted in hopes of getting edit, or they wooted easy worlds and rarely difficult ones.

I think we should keep the woot's originality but also upgrade the system. We could keep the terminology, i.e woot would be a like, but change how it works. Instead of dislike we could use another word, boot maybe since it rhymes.

On the topic of the name woot:
1. I knew of one new user who clicked the woot button without even realizing what a woot is. If it was changed to "like" I'm sure there'd be less of a problem with this.
2. Woot is synonymous with "yay." Sure it's similar to liking a level, but if you get edit or beat 200 lava hookjumps, you'd say "yay" but may not actually like the level. It doesn't fit the purpose to me.

Thus, the term "like", albeit less funny sounding than "woot," is superior in its message of its function to players, and easy to instantly understand when you find it.

Usually when I finish a level I give a woot.
Also if it is one of my friend's levels.

I think "likes" should still be called "woots" and you can unwoot a level and such. Idk I just like the name

It's not gonna be the same... The thing that ticked me off were players constantly wooting the same level over and over again. Noobs would woot, leave, come back, and woot over and over again in easy worlds.

Anyway, I think the name should be kept the same, but just with the ability to un-woot it.

Did you mean only woot EACH level once? That'd be insane for it to be one woot ever... though I wonder what levels would get it.

Just make a box come up saying something like "Show that you like this level by giving it your ___!" when you hover over the button.

just dont call them likes

if they get called likes I've lost all hope in EE

Woot are you talking about?

On-topic: I like the like terminology. For instance, I didn't knew that "woot" means something like "yay". There's people playing from countries where these type of slangs don't make sense.
