I have web hosting for a website that has basically nothing on it and is just being wasted, is there any reason this forum would require anything more than just basic level of web hosting? My web hosting previously had a forum that had over 2000 posts per day by spambots, so unless there is something unusual about this I imagine it would be possible. There could obviously be potential other reasons against giving it to someone like me, but I would be interested in the possibility.

Thanks for all your responses. Regarding hosting the forum, I don't think there is anyone besides the current admin team I would consider giving the unedited version of the forum to, however I'm sure an alternate host would be found should I wish to leave permanently.

Atilla said he could host it for a limited time, but once his time's up I'd be willing to keep it alive. These forums have outgrown EE and it'd be a shame to see them go.

i wouldnt care, this forum only provides cheap laughs. i would just be at fail forums like always

I'd probably abandon EE entirely.
