Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

Indeed. There should be a pure white and maybe more shades of blue. Maybe more shades of Grey too.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

I just ran into a spot today where I needed darker bricks. We're trying to texture a castle, but it's hard to texture it with such a big gap in brightness.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

I would appreciate it if you were to eliminate all colors except the grey basic brick. This would be awesome for EE conservatives.

How about, make sleepy an EE Graphics Designer with RPG2K? They both look awesome! But only if Sleepy agrees //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

(by sleepy)
More blocks like this:
q478T.png
-extra blocks pack-
The colors are bright and vibrant, and they have a nice glossy look that makes them cartoonish, a feel EE needs to have more of, plus it has some of the dark/light colors
people suggested.
-space pack-
Not necessarily just like that, but blocks that have detail such as these do. Most of the blocks we have now are simple.
-snow/ice pack-
The second iteration of the snow-on-brick block looks very nice. A snow pack would be good.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

The packs by Sleepy are very well crafted, I agree. However, the only packs that could contain a whole spectrum of dark/pure colors is the Extra block pack and possibly the Cave pack if it gets some polish. I'm a bit skeptical about using user-made block packs, but I'm not totally against it either. We'll just have to see about it. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Very true, that's partially why I'm not totally against using his packs either. It's just that I'd rather actually do my job and design new content, if you know what I mean. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

We can do an "Exotic Package!" This will contain a few (or all if you like) of the followings:

Amethyst - Aquamarine - Emerald - Garnet - Gold - Onyx(like a nice brownish color) - Peridot - Ruby - Sapphire - Silver - Topaz.

Making is really not a big deal. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
Here I made some:
hTXKz.png
Its just an example of what colours could be helpful. although I think I would add more brown blocks. :\
Not amazing and I think I could of made the shades of the colours better, but its just an example.

I have no idea, it completely depends on Chris/Peter.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

Hmm. How about some backgrounds/decorations that show colors? And as for the water ideas, that could be our dark blue and we could have currents. And, thinking of my name, some slippery blocks. An ice block (is slippery) could be pure white. Just a couple ideas //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
