Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Putting together the "Artist pack"

I've noticed that a lot of people are hungry for new features, a hunger that smileys and decoration packs obviously can't fulfill so I've decided to make something a little more useful to the community to the best of my abilities. I've decided to put together something that I for now will call the Artist pack which will contain a variety of different blocks of a theme that will be decided at a later date.

The point of this pack is to meet the needs of the EE artists who have longed for certain shades of colors that can't be found in any current block packs, so by all means, give me requests! It can either be colors or suggestions for themes. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

I had that idea, but it would take ages to load a level.

Imagine, now there's just some kind of ID for a block to show up on the level/minimap.
But let's say you have a 200x200 world.
That are 40,000 blocks, let's say it's half filled with blocks, and it has to load all the colors, it has to load 20,000 different colors!

For me, it's more just hungry than hungry for bur- ....features. Well, I suppose that means I'm in a burrito mood.... :/

This topic is Different55 approved. I would love more darker colors. Brighter than keys, darker than the normal bricks. Around the crown. Also, I would love more shades of gray and white. Also some red that's RED. Not pink. And orange. Orange would be nice. So would be a little more brown. Metallic bricks would be awesome.

And like magic said, a sort of pick the color block would be absolutely awesome. Maybe you could buy them in groups of 10? And unlock them through the newsletter.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

An actual secret brick that STAYS SECRET. Like, you put it over a regular brick and all the sudden, that brick is a hologram. It'd have a different look to it, but subtle, so you could tell, but it's not that obvious.

Art-wise:
An actual red brick, a brown, and a pure white.

EDIT:
Bricks that move independently, either randomly or with a preset pattern.

Re: Putting together the "Artist pack"

Please remember that smileys, decoration packs and blocks with properties like water are uninteresting to me. This is only supposed to be a solid block pack containing minimap colors that are hotly requested by the artist community.
