He's suggesting a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor for the forums. Essentially you wouldn't see BBCode, you would only see the actual result. So basically what you were suggesting in your other topic, peace.

WYSIWYG is an official shortcut. You know if you say “too vague” I’d report every topic of yours.

Peace needs an interpreter because of the way he types. You need an interpreter for what you typed. Pretty big difference there.

What Diff is describing sounds useful, but there should be an option to disable it.

I still don't get it since there is literally an option to make your text bold, italic and so much more already, so what do we need a bold and italic option for? And about you being so perfect, you probably know what you get if you take my birth year, multiply it by 41294 and add my age in milliseconds. No? Guess you don't know everything either.

Can you make, so "Preview" at the top gets automatically updated? This way you can see during coding, when _you_ actually did mistakes. In my case, ive been trying to find a mistake in my post for two hours because the reason was completely wrong.

So... real life preview?

It's probably me but there's already a preview button and a bold/italics option so I really don't see what you mean. Also I googled it and didn't find anything that made me understand what you mean, so then you googled it for me and the exact same results came as it's the same site with the same keyword.

A WYSIWYG editor isn't the buttons, it's the text area. Instead of [ b]this[/b ] you would see actual bold text while you're writing. Like this.

A WYSIWYG editor isn't the buttons, it's the text area. Instead of [ b]this[/b ] you would see actual bold text while you're writing. Like this.

So what's your response to the suggestion?

I personally think it would be cool to have but not exactly necessary. As I understand it, the standard for forums is to just use BBCode.
