If you don't hit anything that actually "saves" your state after you reset, the game doesn't reset them.

I just noticed this. Notalesmile reported to me that he had the same problem. He'd reset but the coins didn't. Hexxel also did this on CTM 2 for no reason whatsoever (he won't tell me a good reason why) and he didn't lose any of his coins, so he was able to just drift through the levels without having to get the switches. This seriously needs to be patched because I think someone could use this to their advantage to exploit a campaign tier

This should hopefully be fixed in the next update
Just in case you were curious, its because coin counts aren't reset correctly when a player is reset, so the campaign autosave gets given the wrong information. This has probably been a problem ever since the original /reset command was added (citation needed), but I guess nobody really noticed it, and it didn't really matter until campaigns came along, and even then /resetall / /reset probably weren't used much, so its was only a problem in the few campaign worlds that have reset blocks...

hey if you dont know it also works for jumps. if you it a 3 jump and land on dots with 0 then you get 1 jump when you exit level and rejoin

are you being sarcastic? i only knew about this in beat the spikes 2, which is a campaign. /reset resets all jumps but if you exit level and rejoin you have a jump back
