Welcome to Mafia 16.

Rules
1. All forum rules apply, however multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue.
2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted.
3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.
4. If you stay inactive too long or not contributing to discussion , you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours.
5. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying what your role is or does, but don't copy paste an entire role pm word for word.
6. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.
7. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.
8. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia night chat. No exceptions.
9. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.
10. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.
11. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

Also the nolynch attempt, as antitown as it is, usually comes from noobtown. As of this post, no one will be able to get cheap towncred for suggesting it anymore since I have made it public knowledge.

for active lurking. Speculation about werewolf role specifics is wasted posting time as well. Town is to find them, not ponder what they do. I want to see the lurkers post. If they do not, I will be happy to lynch one of them as a day 1 lynch, since i doubt any of our roles works as a vig to take out the trash for us.

Oh **** I'm sorry, I thought you knew basic mafia theory.

This game is not role madness, there are "townies" in it. We can't rely on a gamebreaking strategy like follow the cop/seer to lead us to victory, so we have to *gasp* lynch scum to win instead of no lynching and praying the 1 seer in the game gets lucky.

I mean you know I'm going to be a coherent voice in the town whether you like it or not, so as scum you should probably just back off of me today then deal with me tonight. You've played smarter in the past, jkdrip. You seem to be questioning things for their own sake instead of trying to find scum.

Question for you, am I a WW? If all that I did was as suspicious as you said how come you respond with reee instead of a vote?

I've been lynched d1 as town in a game with 2 week days. This is a a funhouse blitz game! Partyyyy!

(reminder for those town that are trying to win: there is no motivation for me as scum to be posting this much trash when I am well aware lurking to victory wins scum games on this forum~!)

Hummerz is town. Slabdrill null. jkdrip scumlean. N1KF is worrying me but probtown.

Let me also add that emalton is quite possibly the worst kill mafia could have made, so let's not worry about why they did it and just be grateful that they're as stupid as they are. I cannot fathom why scum killed someone who probably would have just lurked out D2 and gotten mislynched later down the road.

Devlin - actually leaning town on this??? not sure what people are seeing against him. I mean I am seeing genuine concern in his posts as opposed to N1KF. If you want to know where it was about the lurkers i think,, Still think its a good move to lynch onjit today tho since he has no town motivation going for him, I want him dead 100% before LYLO. We can (reasonably in a world where scum doesnt kill lurkers) assume that someone that someone else is scumreading is going to die tonight since reads are all over the place atm. Who knows, maybe scum will shoot devlin and we'll learn something there. (but its prob just me cause im conftownning tbh)

I believe devlin more than n1kf, as n1kf started the aggression. Anyone openly persistently attacking someone for no reason is strange to me.

... but then there's posts that just suck like this where slabdrill condemns town play? I mean i think i get what you mean insofar as that n1kf is just tunneling with weak reasoning(?) was(?) whatever man. ~.

All these scumreads are nice and all, but we have to consider lynching those that don't vote, since if town is left with non-voters it's an easy win for mafia. For this reason, and since Slabdrill seems to have returned, my top lynch candidate today would have to be Anatoly.

This is a horrible post "Lets kill lurkers instead of scumhunting, guys"

He also does the thing where he ironically puts himself on the top of his scumlist - that comes from scum more often then town, even the defense is always "it was just ironic bro, you trying to push on me for weak reasoning?? ur scum!" His top scumreads are lurkers. He is actively NOT playing the game in that sense -- advocating for lurker lynches instead of scummy ppl, and while he notes onjit's bad post, he puts him quite high on the list in the town direction?? possible partners, even. Nice.

Furthermore doing the thing where he reads everyone as scummy to allow him to vote for anyone he wants/whoever it's convenient, instead of working with the tool of PoE by finding townreads AKA what town does to help solve the game.

Alright good, looks like I'll be achieving conftown status shortly.

It seems the actives are caught between a N1KF, Devlin, or Marten lynch. I'm only comfortable with the Marten lynch. Nobody else has mentioned Onjit yet. The Emalton kill tells me that scum are newer players, heightening the Marten scumness.

Are you seriously citing what everybody else is thinking as a valid reason to lynch in that pool when it's a known fact that scum are in the game and yes, they are lying? You do realize it's scum's job to be concerned about "what town is currently thinking", right?

Quick question, besides me, if you could kill one player, who would it be? Because I have a memey option if/when I get mislynched, but I'd rather use it on someone worthwhile.

Not lynching onjit today would just mean he doesn't get to use his ability and dies tonight, while devlin continues to not play the game tomorrow. 1shot vig is pretty nice for town yeah?

On epicmafia, hunter is basically a vengeful townie: he gets to bring someone down with him when lynched. NOT killed, though, which makes me skeptical of the claim. Scum doesn't have a good reason to claim hunter by my definition, but the way onjit puts it, it can be seen as a way to buy scum another day........ whatever im overthinking it, the right move here is to lynch onjit then watch him pull a sick hero shot on scum.

I mean, you said you were suspiscious of him too, let's make him today's lynch, devlin dies tonight, game is still fine, onjit is alive moving towards 5man (or 3man if we hit right), and the seer gets another investigation.

This might start getting solve-able through massclaim in future days if we play our cards right.
