Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I challenge any of you to give me a good reason why the Perpetual Frustration campaign ever came into existence. Saying that the creators of those levels were kiss-ups is not a good reason.
Seriously though, old devs, what the hell were you thinking? First, you try gearing Everybody Edits towards new players by creating in-game tutorials that are super annoying to skip, and then you go and formulate a campaign made specifically for anyone but a newcomer? Sometimes I feel sad that you all left, but other times like this, I'm glad you're gone. After you complete this campaign, you'll guaranteed be able to beat Fractured Fingers like it was a basic tutorial like it was no problem at all. All of this for a demon smiley and a bit of energy that comes free regardless?
I'm not usually one to complain, but it's been ****ing months (what, a year?) and I'm still no closer to beating the second to last mini on the first level. Should I still try?

That's up to you, I haven't bothered with the campaign since I beat that level. The campaign looks way too long, tedious and boring. The only people I can guess who thoroughly enjoyed those levels were some stuck-up "pro" players, or people who had friends with them to make it a bit more entertaining.
If you don't mind not having a certain smiley, then probably don't bother.

Or hack your way through just like 99% of the perpetual frustration winners

wait, that's an option!?!? Goddammit I knew I was doing it wrong!!

Here's some motivation:
I was only on 500 deaths when I started the 2nd to last mini.

I'm not saying they were kiss-ups. But the creators were kiss-ups.
Also i agree! Be proud of not beating that pile of crêpes. Show those devil smiley users how they should feel ashamed for even using that badge of masochism!

On another note I think the 2 campaigns are fine as they are. However, I think every other campaign they add should be of an easier difficulty. 2 extreme campaigns are plenty in my opinion.

Gee, good idea! Or maybe I should go back in time and prevent you from ever contributing to the campaign because that's more likely than 99% of EE players winning it.

I only played them because I felt like I could beat some of them. No I didn't enjoy any of it (I'm probably not going to play EP)

From what I know, it was designed to cater to players like orangecrix and kira.
I personally don't endorse it. Like with most campaigns it seems to flaunt gravity minigames and perfect keystrokes rather than forward the game for the general public in any meaningful way.

lol I was on the second to last minigame of the first land. Then I forgot to log in to keep my position. Now I have to restart.

I think the campaign is actually a good idea, since it allows the (above) average player to ALWAYS have another campaign to complete. If one day they decide to try, they can do it, but until then, it's waiting.
Well, that's what I would think if desolate helix and helix reborn didn't exist. Those maps ruin the entire campaign for me

I dislike the idea that all campaigns should be accessible to newcomers. Extreme campaigns are not supposed to be easy. The rewards aren't for everyone, only for those who are worthy; this makes the rewards a lot more meaningful. So I don't think the campaign's difficulty makes it bad.
I haven't played the campaign, but if it isn't fun, then that's bad. All campaigns should be fun, regardless of difficulty (tutorial campaign is an exception).

I'm not sure if anyone thinks its fun and just played it for the rewards. I agree with you here

I'd be willing to get more than the tutorial badge if my progress in a campaign world was saved indefinitely.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.
