Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Move checkpoint to the foreground layer?

It's annoying when someone goes AFK on a checkpoint, because it gets completely covered up and you can't tell if one is there. This is especially bad if a level isn't well designed and the checkpoints aren't automatic.

Re: Move checkpoint to the foreground layer?

I read this and was like, "but they are on the foreground..."
You mean to say "in front of the user like decorations"?

Some decorations aren't in front of the user (Example, New Year 2010), and some blocks are. (Example, Jungle Head)

so maybe some of the decorations should be moved in front as well.

Unless I'm having false memory....I think years ago coins could be hidden behind players as well and it was changed because of the same problem we have with checkpoints now.

Yup.

Right. It's strange that coins were fixed but not checkpoints.

I'm pretty sure other effect blocks can be hidden behind players as well (can someone confirm?). If they are, they should also be corrected.

that would look kind of awkward with gravity arrows

Re: Move checkpoint to the foreground layer?

Will definitely consider this. Yes, it was done with coins for the same reason.

How about
If it has an effect outside of its space, put it above player (coins, effects, keys)
If it only affects the space the block is on, put it below (ladder, doors, gravity)
