Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Gravity Inconsistency

This may be a little bit tricky to explain, there is a symmetrical gravity track, yet when you enter, you will end up on the left loop - from starting both left and right sides.

Did you not understand?

both the right and left loops are symmetrical, yet if you are in the box and don't press anything, you will end up on the left side - inconsistent physics.

Re: Gravity Inconsistency

Yay for inconsistent physics! We've known for a while that this is going on but we were never able to prove it. This is some good evidence right there.

Yes it is. Inconsistent physics for the win!

Re: Gravity Inconsistency

I'd assume this is just because of an inequality in acceleration.

Notes:

> Find the time it takes to fall 4/5 blocks. (tf)
> Use that time to find what speed it must have to travel a horizontal distance of 48.50 pixels.

Horizontal Velocity: tf cos(41)
Vertical Velocity:   tf sin(41)

No game is complete without maths and physics

Horizontal Velocity: tf cos(41)
Vertical Velocity:   tf sin(41)

So does that mean that is should be the same both right and left side?
I should probably play more before commenting on this stuff.

It should be, but in this scenario it is evidently not, the physics for velocity and acceleration isn't completely perfect.

It should be, but in this scenario it is evidently not, the physics for velocity and acceleration isn't completely perfect.

So it is only a difference of something very small and hardly measurable.

I'd think so, probably just off by a decimal of a pixel, so only two integral values being changed would fix this.

devanwolf: Try not to double-post unless it's necessary. Consider this your warning.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

@devanwolf, that first one isn't a glitch. That's supposed to happen.

@op, hmm... so it seems that left arrows are slightly stronger than right arrows... This might be useful...
