If the game were to be transferred then all recently departed staff (gravestone) would re-join and then the game would thrive much more in terms of production and eventually in terms of playerbase.
It's what a large amount of the community hopes for.

Either way best of luck, if things change then you wouldn't be the only one trying to save the game again. If not then make sure you implement the items we (mini+me) made as desired d:

Xeno has some good ideas, so he could be a concept designer. But, I think he would want to keep his legal ownership of the game given how long he's been refusing to give it away. So maybe he'll demand to be the head admin.

In the ideal system devised secretly during the transpired events, finances would be handled by the domain owner along with legalities, various other tasks would be handled by at least a team of 3-4, possibly consisting of the leader of each team. Voluntary, that way no tasks are imposed on members who are unwilling to participate.

As for how to get Xeno to agree, only a wallet full of money or a very persuasive arg from the patrons + candidates will work. The second option has failed due to missing criteria.

It'd make things easier to remember, consider today an example with the domain expiring.
Ownership has a lot of responsibilities so it's hard to remember everything, having multiple people manage various tasks (1-3 tasks per person) puts less stress on the position, possibly making it more inviting rather than daunting.

I was referring primarily to what's happening now, staff departing in the hopes that xeno will reconsider his position.

I wish I had used this subforum for more than just a departure thread, didn't have the time or need to write an introduction thread.
More to the point, it is with regret that I announce that I'm also leaving the Everybody Edits/Everybody Edits Universe staff team. While I enjoyed making a lot of graphics for the game, and enjoyed providing the community with content and hopefully at least some happiness, I cannot abide by Xenonetix's behaviour any longer.

While I can't say I've created as much as the other designers and devs for EE, I was assigned to animated items for the most part in EEU so here's a list of items I've created over the course of my being staff:

EE: Additions to the technology pack, final 2 auras and coded amaranth.

EEU: Animated all the auras from EE and more (20+), animated various cosmetics that Minisaurus had provided to the staff, the new doors, gates and switches that would have made it ingame by now, a majority of block packs, effects and action items both ingame and to be planned (animated water, tech, decor, and industrial), few other trivial animations for smileys and similar items, an entire UI for what would have come about from the method of obtainment for auras, and other numerous and boring stuff that you wouldn't appreciate unless it wasn't there.

I learnt a great deal from the game and the community and maybe you did from me, if things make a turn for the better I might come back. All that has been provided to staff is in the repository untampered, what hasn't will stay with me.
Under NDA which is why no pics of EEU items mentioned above, but still here for questions.

It was painful for staff since we could see all quarantine areas. All confirmed users had a single quarantine area and I gave up after sending messages to around 30 of them.
Hope that clears up anything.
p.s. I only saw yours because it was brought up in the discord starboard channel.

My very last moment of early 2019 was sending some heartwarming texts to my gf (not related to the body pillows mentioned above).
That and pisco sours for around 2-3 rounds till we couldn't make heads or tails of anything.

Anything with protection that prevents you from playing you just edit the client and bypass the protection, unless they release a playable version like I've been waiting for all my favorite nitrome games. //

If I have the time I could probably whip up a quick version using both Internal and Cycles and post both .blend files here. (v2.78)
It's practically like what I mentioned above in using a colour map to colour the specularity of the material and have it change colour based on the map instead of highlight brightness. Set the hardness to something high, and practically no diffuse material.
Easier explained with an example than via text so I'll definitely do it when I have the time. //

Which renderer are you using for making the sigs? If it's internal then It's easier, faster and it's more my area of expertise. Cycles, not a clue only dabbled in it, despite Cycles being better documented. //
If it's Internal then all you need is a specular map with various hues applied. (something you can do in another editor or directly in blender) DM for more info.
