I finished Firewatch yesterday, the voice acting is perfect, and the scenery and atmosphere - but the sound design was a bit lazy, and the lack of animals, and as someone said earlier, the actual exploration mechanics are really annoying, there are no sensible consistent visual references for where you can and can't go, so you often end up just walking into random bushes and rocks - because sometimes you can walk over them and sometimes you can't :/ and the map was often quite annoying to use.
I got stuck in rocks a couple of times as well and had to go back a save point, but despite all it's clunkiness, something about the story and the way it unfolds really stays with you afterwards, it's far too short though...that ending -_- ..... I tried to refuse it it but the credits rolled anyway.

Unless I'm having false memory....I think years ago coins could be hidden behind players as well and it was changed because of the same problem we have with checkpoints now.

I thought it might be mildly interesting to share the first and last castles that I've drawn in EE.
Maybe it illustrates some point about practice being more important than innate talent, or maybe it's all just too easy now we have so many blocks who knows....
...I'd also quite like to see other peoples first/last pics if anyone has any

Since the update ee has not been the same anymore.
Not in a positive way.
The only good thing about it is 'thing you like'.
What happened to ee?
'random name' is constantly at the top 10 online list,with his useless worlds where he is egoistic in front of his "fans"
'type of world you like' worlds are now ruined
'random bot you don't like' is not as good as the old 'bots I like'
Non-beta members constantly bug people for gems,or bug the admins to make it non-beta.
'Smiley you hate' . Seriously? It's even more overused than 'other random smiley'.
None of the 'people I like' play anymore. EE is full of 'people I don't like' asking for code,edit,gems.
and a bunch of other 'random things'
Overall the nature of EE changes very little over time, this could be any 'omg I hate u I'm leaving post' from the last 4 years.

How long did that take to load? I was trying to load the page for a non-existent crew yesterday but it was taking too long so I assumed that nothing would ever happen.
Just about the same speed as any profiles load.

Not actually sure this belongs here or if I would class it as a bug - but it's odd anyway.
If you search for a crew that doesn't exist, it seems to load all of the homeworlds from EE.
I stopped at 605, cus yano aint got time for that, but I assume it wasn't going to stop.

A category for people who have exemplary skills in all areas - I'm thinking about people such as Lictor, Stagecrew, Thanel who are known for quality art and minis and game design not just one thing.
And if you're having trolls, might as well include level copiers.

Idea for next contest: At least issue a Prize for Participating, ok?
The definition of a contest is to compete - for a prize - against other people. The fewer the prizes - the higher the competition. It would be great if you could just sign up for something and get free stuff - but that stuff would be valueless.
