What happened to stairs?

I feel like after Mrshoe, stairs just completely fallen off of the face of the Earth. What happened to them?

I don't know but we need to bring them back. Since I returned to EE I've only seen one stairs level and that was more of a proof of concept stairs level than anything else.

We (as a community) have finally made stairs obsolete, and here you are, complaining again.

Don't you remember all those topics we had about how much we hate stairs? We even had polls...

I think the funnest time for stairs was in the beginning... there was nothing- and then the big bang burst through and created all of EE!

Okay but seriously in the beginning of EE stairs were great. During that time, it was less of making the best levels as A. There were only like 9 or so levels and B. They were all open. Naturally, people just messed around and figured out what fun stuff they could create on the platform.
Some of the main ones were
-Bosses
-Smiley Bosses
-Stairs
-Art
-Arrow Elevators (Okay yes, yes, these are kind of obvious and of course we would've made them, but at the time they took a while to make so when someone figured out how useful they were, which was fairly quickly, they just exploded)

Adventure levels/rpgs came in a bit later when there was a more sophisticated chat system.

Personally, I love how at the time we quickly found some of the funnest things to do on EE and perfected them. It's almost like the process of evolution, and since Stairs have pretty much died out, I'm guessing that means they are a lesser level form than some of the others. Alright I know this has gotten a tiny bit off-topic, but entertain me for just one more thought. I find it sad that there weren't many people playing in that crucial time of creation. If there were more, imagine all the other wild level types that could have been created. It kind of reminds me of that super volcano that was theorized to, a long time ago, destroy like 1/3 of the human population. Imagine how many more cultures we could have had if that never happened.

I might make a classic stairs level, I miss those, too. I'd probably use the original three colors, unless others suggest more, what with more gimmicks and such. :3

The players who were used to make stairs quit EE and the noobs didn't took this idea, so they decided to spend their time making FNAF worlds rather than stairs.
