Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Lower The Chances Of Being Hacked

LOWER THE CHANCES OF BEING HACKED!

Here are some ideas I came up with.

1. Hide your profile - if your profile has REALLY good things its best to hide it from hacker view

2. Don't show all your smileys - If someone asks "what smileys do you have" only show your normal/common ones, showing ones like Christmas, New Year's and Big Spender will attract hackers.

3. CHANGE PASSWORD OFTEN, this will stop hackers from getting in you account if its hacked

4. If you have 2010 decorations - don't use them a lot or say someone else placed them.

5. Look for suspicious activity. Phrases like the following could help you uncover hackers:
"What bricks do you have?"
"What Smileys do you have?"
"Do you have Christmas or New Years?"
"How much energy do you have?"
"Can I have your account?"
If friends ask you these then its okay to tell them UNLESS, their account is shared, hackers target these accounts too. Except for saying your account :3

Re: Lower The Chances Of Being Hacked

Has there been a recent problem with being hacked or something?

I have another idea:

> If you know how to use the animator, copy all your levels so that in case someone hacks your account and clears them, you'll be able to replace it with an exact replica.
> Take a screenshot of all your minimaps/minigames in case somebody clears them.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Why would you not use the this you have? ><
Only because you think you get hacked for it? :/
Just take a good password, not your name, birth year or something short
Take something big with 10 letter or numbers

Asking for someones password or tricking someone into giving it to you is not hacking. If people could hack wouldn't you think they would hack an admin instead of some random player?

NEVER make your password your birth year or anything related to you at all.

To summarize: don't be stupid.

Just don't give away email/pw and they can't do anything. No matter how dumb your password is, they would still need your email to log in.

Thats social engineering to tricking someone to get the password.
The kids in EE are easy targets for social engineering because they will give everything away.
All kids in EE can be phished and keylogged. Easy targets for that.

Chris should fix some popup with information to not share the password, install/run any third-party softwares. Or login on any third-party sites. Then also use a password that does not include any privacy.

If they are so stupid to do that, they will learn it on the hard way //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue
After that most people wont be so stupid and will think before downloading or doing something that requires information.

These are stupid to be honest. If a person is not dumb enough, his account will never get hacked. And about those stupid people whose account get hacked- it's pointless to try teaching them something, they just won't learn.

If you mean the whole topic, its just to help people who don't know that showing off can be harmful.
