Hi everyone! We're looking for a few people to serve on the PixelWalker Steering Committee. The purpose of the committee is to help discuss and formulate the future of the game and benefit from other perspectives rather than only from the Game Administrators. Members of the committee would provide recommendations on both features and items to focus on. Terms for serving are a maximum of 6 months, unless the Game Administrators asks a member to serve additional time.
Requirements
Must be active on Discord.
Must be active on PixelWalker.
Must be a member of the following categories: 1x Builder, 1x Player, 1x Programmer, 1x Elected At-Large Seat.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
How to Apply
Please DM a Game Administrator on Discord before May 28th 8:00AM (CT) before if you are interesting on serving on the committee.
Provide your in-game username and a reason why you would be a good fit to serve on the committee.
Specify a single category that you most associate with. If opting for an At-Large seat, then you will be an option that can be voted on by the community.

World portals are now added.
Lots of block packs were added in this update.
There is now a /forcegod command.
F3 will now show you the debug and performance information for the game.
Added old chat messages when you join a world with existing messages. (Inserted at index 7)
Rate limits on chat messages and commands are 5 per second for regular users, and 15 for world owners.
A background image loop for the lobby was added, including some restyling and updates to the refresh behavior.

Only show block rotation information in the inspection tool when in verbose mode.
You only get a world completion message if that user hasn't completed the world within the last 5 minutes to combat chat spam.

The full screen icon was changed.
Added an icon to the reset block menu popup.

Fixed an issue where if you collect a checkpoint it would still be highlighted if it was deleted and replaced.
Text in popups are now wrapped correctly for longer messages.
Fixed an issue where you would be reset if you pressed 'Y' before being on the reset block.
UpdateRights and PlayerTouchBlock won't get broadcasted on PlayerTouchBlock if the player already has God Mode Rights.
Fix the edit/god commands where the improper username would be in the system message in some cases if their rights were changed.
Emails are now case insensitive.
Fixed an issue that would create ghost players.

It's update time! This update is massive, join the game to see everything!
Additions
Lots of block packs and effects were added in this update.
Added almost all effects, except for poison.
Added teams, invisible gravity, liquids and the ice block, signs and half blocks.
Add morph UI.
Added physics for effects, half blocks, rotatable one-ways and ice.
Added ability to spectate
Added enter key bindings for the login and register page.
In-game player menu for quick command access.
Players can spectate each other.
Changes
Rewrote the sprite renderer and world renderer - it improves rendering speed and compatibility with older devices.
Optimized and condensed the block menu.
Set the chat highlighting to yellow.

Fixed a bug where the coin counter would be incorrect.
Some minimap colors were fixed.
Technical Changes
Add collectibles (coins and secrets) that get sent in player init, and are tracked with player touching blocks.

On July 21 we released a minor update to push out some small changes and bug fixes.
Changes
Improved the behavior of placing grouped (morphable) blocks.
Blocks and block groups can now be dragged from the block selector to the hotbar.
Usernames and chat bubbles now always show when the chat bar is open.
Spectating text now has a slight shadow for better visibility on lighter backgrounds.
Grouped blocks (morphables) had their behavior changed.
Added a 2-pixel wide gap between blocks in the domestic frames block group.
Improved game loading times.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where a timer for the fire effect would not show up.
(Hopefully) fixed a few bugs of effects not applying or clearing properly.
Fixed a bug where the levitation/fly animation would show up in no-gravity scenarios like dots and ladders.
Fixed a bug where players could place blocks while spectating another player.
Fixed a bug where long text without whitespaces would overflow on signs and other popups.
Fixed a bug where markdown elements on signs would create unwanted newlines.
Fixed a bug where a player's team would not be reset when the player is reset using /resetplayer, /reloadworld or the reset block.

Effects are now applied locally when touching an effect block to combat delay.

The game will warn you if you try to leave with unsaved changes.
Add the cherry pie and the chocolate cake slices to the restaurant pack.

Added world descriptions. This is unused for now, but they can be saved and accessed through the API.

Sandbox worlds are now unsaved worlds. The creator of an unsaved world will always be its owner and unsaved worlds are now by default visible in the lobby.

The register screen now tells new users that a verification email will be sent upon registering.
A setting to hide block pack names in the block selector was added.
The fill tool is now only available to world owners. This is a temporary measure until we have some kind of permissions system.
Filling blocks will now be sent to client in chunks. This is done in a random pattern.
The fill tool can now be used every 1 second + 5 times the amount of time it took to fill the world on the server.
Removed the E keybind for opening and closing the block selector. The B keybind can still be used.
