mutntdevle: fwiw, as I had never played mafia before investigating you wasn't really a play on your previous behaviour, but rather that I sinply though your line of "I'll make sure you don't regret keeping me alive or so" was kind of suspicious

orherwise didn't really know whom to investigat, kind of funny that I was so effective in my investigations this game.

Thinking about it, it's an interesting question.
Some players i have seen get absolutely ballistic when implied that they were avoiding the game for an reason that might not have been RL related. However in some cases, some players will lie about their activity levels to make their lessened interest in the game seem more natural. So it is one of those things where you can say it's bad faith to blame others for not being present even though it is absolutely cases where this would apply as an legitimate reason for lessened player activity.
Other players are completely open about lying in any way possible to gain all the advantages possible too. I have seen one player once claim they were in a birthday and thus couldn't post during an crucial moment in the game, before later revealing they just lied about that to not have to confront the reality of the situation, which is that they were indeed intentionally avoiding the game at that crucial moment because they thought it would be more advantageous to their wincon.
So what is right? If we believe everything then some liars will be able to abuse our naivety. And if we don't believe anything, then it will make some volatile players extremely mad. (I have seen some pretty extreme meltdowns about this. Not saying you are like that Mutant, but i think this is an sore spot for some people that make them really mad)

Also, wow! What a twist ending, the flavor for this game was awesome, it's super rare to see hosts tie in the roles of the game with the flavor as excellently as Minimania did this game!!

That’s what made it worse! I couldn’t even wholeheartedly make the argument that you were scum wanting to get rid of me as soon as possible because it was sooo obvious that you were new to the game. Literally the only thing that nearly kept me alive was the flagbearer and sentinel claims because there was literally no logical argument we could make against it 😢

Also, if I were to host a game there’d definitely be very little if any flavour. Not that I could live up to Mini’s efforts anyway

I could host something, but i tend to value setups that put more emphazis on play rather than investigations. Which haven’t always been appreciated as much on this forum so idk if i should.

The past few games have been more high power. I'm sure hosting a lower power game would be very fresh right about now, go for it!

I have a game idea I could host if people want, I talked about it with Mini last night (it would make it more gimmick based, but the setup would probably be a mix of PRs and non-PRs).

If I host though, i won't start the game for at least a week, depending on how my schedule goes.

Norwee can host first if he wants though, one of the reasons i want to host later is just because I got something going on rn, and also there's something I have to attend in like, 3-4 weeks where I'll be gone for an entire week (i.e. not good for hosting)
