WHAT HAPPENED???

So I came back after many months of being away. I wanted to build a new world and check out some of my old worlds and unlocked smiley faces. A nostalgic trip. When I went on the website I was greeted by a grim screen! Where is the game??? I am having trouble finding info on here. IS EVERYTHING GONE??? My worlds? My progress? My friends? My childhood? A big part of my life? gone? is this real life? is this actually happening? is this just a 2021 prank? i dont know what happening and i dont know what to do. please somebody give me insight or comfort.. what is happening. this all hit like a brick and now i am feeling intense dread and i am lost.. ive never felt this before this knot in my chest wtf.. is ee seriously gone?

EE was a flash game. Adobe Flash died. And EE went with it. There's an offline, single player version available. https://github.com/Seb-135/ee-offline/releases

Same, wth. happened? Can we do anything to keep these memories? Will the worlds from original EE be transfered to EE!? What happend to my account? Will all the magic coin grind be rewarded in EE!?

For the past, levels have been archived and can be played offline. See some woman's post up above. They will be able to be transferred (lossily) to the new game.

If you didn't opt in to EEU (little more than a tech demo at this point), your account is kill. The real magic was the friends you made along the way. But going forward, you'll get a bonus in the new game for having a legacy EE account.

^ Yeah. But just the essentials, I'd argue. "EE is done. But wait for EE! Maybe you can EEO while you wait" (paraphrased) -- if they want to know more, it shouldn't be too hard to glean.
