Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Post your estimates of EE! release

EEU took 2 years to develop, with staff that was NOT paid (working for free and as volunteers). BUT, the first version had only the worlds, not a shop or a moderation system.
Let's say that EE!'s first release will include stuff such as a shop or moderation systems, which the owner said that it surely will include these, but staff and devs are paid actual wages so they have motivation.
Realistically speaking, I think it would take about a year and 2 months to develop. But I don't know if that will be the first beta version for the contest winner or the first public release.

Post your estimates here!

I do have an estimate in my head but I don't want to say it in case people take it as a semi-official time frame :3

That's understandable, considering how people misunderstood Xeno's "early 2019" as a confirmed schedule. But maybe you could safely reveal it behind a wall of condescending warnings and disclaimers? Though, that might not stop people from spreading the estimate around as a fact...

Re: Post your estimates of EE! release

I remember seeing in one of the conversations between Xenonetix and Fixel that Satanya had posted on Discord a while ago, Fixel mentioned they planned to be profitable by June 2021. Though I think that was before they decided to scrap EEU, so who knows how that's changed by now.

After exactly one year without EE proper, a worthy successor arises from the ashes like a phoenix

Never! Just accept it people EE is dead! Why this new EE factorial will not die out before it is even released like EEU?

You guys are being unusually optimistic about the future today. "EE is dead" is dead?

Perhaps better communication and frequent updates on development progress would be nice. I always felt assured when Criobite (I forgot his username on here) was making progress videos for Everybody Edits Universe, but now the game just feels like it's in endless development limbo being excused as "work-in-progress" when we hardly get any news about the game anymore. A few words from the staff letting us know that they're still here isn't going to make this project move forward.

The game started dying in 2015, and I believe TOOP leaving the team was the last straw before things started coming down (my opinion!)

If a game like this takes longer than two years to develop, then wouldn't putting the pen down instead of making people long for something that may never reach a nourished state be better in the long run?

Sorry if my comment comes off harsh, but I can't help but be disappointed.

i reject the notion that the game is dying, it just needs a sequel to cold world to revive it

Since the logo contest is ending, they'll have to look into all the submissions. So several weeks now. With additional coding and even more graphics designing, I'd say in 2-3 months

Really don't appreciate this slander. This is fake news. The game is coming out in early 2019, please be patient
