I didn't get to download all of the worlds I wished to download, and now I feel terrible because there's quite a few worlds that I had some memories on.
Is it POSSIBLE that I can somehow get temporary access (I would only need an hour) to Everybody Edits or get downloads of every world in my crews list?

I already downloaded all of my worlds, but I have yet to download the worlds in the crews I am in. I'm aware that I had plenty of time.

Yeah, that's pretty much me right now.

I really hope I can download a few more worlds, as I don't need to download much and it would only take a short while.

There's not much time though, so I'm a bit stressed at the moment.

Thankfully, I downloaded all my worlds before EE got shutdown, but unfortunately, I forgot to update the offline downloader, and now I have to go through the pain of fixing everything.

Quite a few people have exports / backups of all worlds from varying amounts of time ago, I have a load from back when I was on the staff team, then I think the current devs have more recent copies, and I believe the new dev is making backups of everything too.

I'm sure somebody will make their backup available, preferably one of the current devs since they're more recent, but if not I can probably upload mine.

Are of the worlds I wish to download are from two or three years ago/a year ago.

It's pretty cool that you have a backup.

I would assume the backups are several gigabytes large.

Something like 50-60GB IIRC, but mostly just because it's stored in basically the worst format you could think of. Compressing it you can get it down to 3-5GB, then using a more efficient format you could probably get it in the <1GB range. I might try and finish a project for a really good compression format for worlds I had a while ago to see if I can get it to the point where you could reasonably bundle every single world with EEO.

if it makes you feel better? i didn't get to download all of my worlds either. (i forgot to download something i updated today) then i remembered i have the world downloader. but the bot doesn't seem to work anymore now that the site is no longer running.

So I think the 5GB was zipping it (using deflate), then 3GB was a more modern compression like lzma or something, for anything better than that you'd probably need something that knows what the file format represents so can make better use of space.

Not sure if it's worth doing, 3GB is already fairly reasonable to download, but I think once you get to those sorts of sizes free hosting starts getting harder to find. The project I had was mostly done, so I'm thinking it wouldn't be too much effort to get it down to somewhere in the low hundreds of megabytes range, so it might be worth finishing.

well last night i was sorry. but this morning? i'm not. i got my world back!

how? well after taking someone's advice i decided to try downloading it again but using the world's ID using this.

i am unsure if this will work for you but it helped me. although, i may not finish the world in the picture since they seemed to have forgot to add the command to eeo to identify world portals

I don't think the bot works for accounts and crews, at least in my experience, but maybe works for world IDs.

I have something similar but for my deleted account instead, I talked to someone like 4 hours before the game shutdown to unban my old acc for downloading (I never knew it was banned so it was accidental ban evading, I learnt it after I tried downloading and it wouldnt let me) but he couldnt get it done in time
