I would like to continue this exquisite channel of posts but a question won't leave my mind
Why is one of the smileys sad/angry after they're cured from zombosis? Did they WANT to be a zombie? The arc of this character is to be continued and I yearn to find out what will happen to them next.

Calm down, They went to turn into zombies and some think: "what to do?", So it was to infect everyone, and they didn't know that the cure would appear, so they got cured and one knows who was responsible and one got angry. the other that was sad, was the birthday boy. Not the continuation, sorry.

Sad smiley does not understand that the box is temporary and hence is sad that they are trapped.

This is a metaphor for optimism and pessimism.

You know what it is, what they have with happy faces, is that they are normal, what is sad, is the birthday boy because he lost his friends to celebrate their birthday.
