The game has basically been over, the development of EEU is the beginning of a new chapter, and the current EE community is forgetting that... what we are currently playing is basically not relevant as all recourses to advertise etc will be going towards EEU after the official release if and whenever that is. So the players that play in this time period are true fans regardless of the nonsense that is said, or they themselves say. Fact is they keep going online regardless.

You won´t be able to play EE in 2021 (In around 4-6 months, when flash dies)
So start saying goodbye to it

What you will have "like-forever" (if you download it) is EEditor, EEmulator, EEO and any related bot adjusted to work either in EEO or EEmulator (Or a similar offline version of the game)
What you can start playing that have the feeling of EE (Not yet) is EEU
Maybe you will find a copy of the game somewhere in the internet that still run (It is evident that the game will have a lot of copies in the future, either for EE or EEU or EEO)
So far EE won´t die if the community keeps supporting it, EE got some very persistent people that is currently working to keep EE alive "like-forever" so don´t worry about it "Shutting-down"
You can download your maps now so you can play them later in offline versions of the game

I am not completely sure what will happen if you don´t download your profile and don´t ask anyone to save it
I have not downloaded and either asked anyone to download my profile, so I am kinda uncertain of what will happen to my worlds (I cant worry less, I won´t be downloading them, new worlds can be created always lol)

i hav ecopied one of my firends world in an existign EEU world manualy (by chnaging some block types to others, for exmaple prisson brick doesnt eixst so i made it grey metal block for now) i have 1 great world planned to convert to an 600x400 world (or was it 400x600 the max?) its an role play world me an dmy freind used to play a lot for tehe rest i dont have much finished worlds so i think im safe

You won´t be able to play EE in 2021

There are browsers designed to allow using Flash after EOL, and you can continue to download the projector, probably not from Adobe's site, but it'll still be available.

At worst, there will be none online so it'll be most likely not worthy. But you will be able to play it in 2021.

There are some browsers that will continue to support the use of flash in 2021, but EE website and "every" function of EE will be shutten down, this mean the sfw you download won´t work, as so, the browsers that allow flash after 2021 won´t be able to open EE as Xenonetix, the current owner of EE, is shutting down the website (It is an online game, so the SFW is not full and won´t load as the server is shutted down)
I mentioned the many ways you will continue to be able to play the game above tho

Well, that's expected. You can download the client beforehand and reverse-engineer the server, which is partly what Atilla is doing with the emulator. I just wanted to mention that the game can still be played by more advanced means, not the further limitations or deterrents.

im not sure if xeno shuts down the website or is gonan reuse it for EEU (to get really ol dplayers back easily who think oh ey lets hceck out EE atffter many years)
