Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Surveillance Camera

Seeing the original thread gave me this idea

In EEU, what if there was a Camera NPC that you could spectate? Spectating the Camera NPC this way can be affected by Vision Zones . Something like this could be used to scope out certain parts of a world.

Thoughts?

Re: Surveillance Camera

Are there benefits of this over just using a portal to put the player in a 2x1 room other than it just being a cool gimmick for the NPC?

Re: Surveillance Camera

You wouldn't actually have to build a 2x1 room. Also, it might be possible to stop players from spectating certain cameras unless they have something if the devs go that far.

Less space
why build many blcok when few do thing
Also you know how some huge minis have a side path just for looking at a part of a mini that you can't view from start?
Would be a good application since you can't always stuff a 3x4 room (I count in wall thickness) with a portal in the center of a minigame

Re: Surveillance Camera

We have vision zones. What about surveillance camera triggers. Imagine steping into room and then camera is fixed in one point. (huh leaving this as 'optional to use' NPC sounds better for my eyes)
Or... do you remember that old 3d platform games where the exit/lever camera shot is shown when entering the room?? Imagine a NPC that does the same.
