EEW

Everybody Edits Worlds | Join the Discord to Play!

Everybody Edits Worlds is primarily an educational, joke, and creative parody of Everybody Edits Universe (with more features!), in only 60 recorded man hours (we started on 2020-04-08, ended on 2020-04-14). Join the Discord to Play!

The core components of EEW are to be:

Educational

This clone is educational. We've recreated the entirety of the EEU servers, and we provide a better experience for bot developers.

Long Tokens: Our tokens last one full day. If you're tired of using your google login token, or from repeatedly putting in the EEU token, say no more! Because our tokens last one full day, you'll have an easier experience debugging and creating EEU bots.
Provide Help: Because we've recreated the entirety of the server, we can assist other bot developers in tasks, such as deserializing zones or packet formats.

Creative

One of the core components of this clone is to allow for more creative freedom than EEU.

Ludicrous Worlds: Want a 50 by 600 world? Sure! We don't care. We by default give everyone a world that fills up their screen. You shouldn't have your creativity hindered by artificially imposed limitations.
Removing Restrictions: We have fewer restrictions than EEU. The primary case for this claim, is the ability to place foreground blocks into the background, for world owners only. If you use a modified client or a bot, you can create really cool trippy levels. I'm excited to see what you'll make! Oh, and we also don't force the casing on your username. You can have upper or lowercase names!
More features: We provide more features than EEU currently does! We have /kick, /loadlevel, /killroom, and colored usernames (just ask us!). The other features can be found here in this thread.

A Joke

EEW is, at its heart, a joke.

The Name: For starters, the name is pronounced "eww". We just made you say an onomatopoeia.
The Domain: We recognize that the domain name may cause a little bit of contention, however we have put explicit warnings on the site to make sure you understand that this clone is merely a parody.
The Logo: Just look at it

I didn't figure how impressive this was until I realized this is public to general users. I suppose I've taken it for granted that I've had access to EEU.

Now it's time for us to make EEO before the staff does...

If you are referring to hosting the game assets, then yes. It isn't copyright infringement to emulate servers though.
I would like to see Xenonetix attempt to take down everyone single person's copy of a game client that has been barely modified in order to connect to an alternative server, though.

I think it's a neat little project. If I were Xenonetix, I wouldn't be worried because hey, his free-to-play game will be much more successful, no?

It's not really a remake, it's moreso a clone of the EEU client with some slight tweaks

After several days of being online, EEW has already made a lot of progress compared to what we know from EEU. We have a new blood pack, and we even have a smiley selector. We also have support for SFX as well. Very nice, Sirjosh!

I have a hunch that EEW is actually a haunted game. Any day now one of the spooky smileys will gain sentience and players are going to wind up dead in puddles of hyperrealistic vectorized blood, viscera blocks trolled everywhere around them, and "Help me!" speech bubbles sticking out of their heads.
