Chris did not try to create a battle, but showed tolerance and adequacy, tried to find a common language with Kira. Any normal person would not have ignored a pedophile joke in his direction

I don't know any country in which defamation and "fake news" are not considered offences.
The term "fake news" is very used nowadays, yet there are people who don't actually know its meaning.
"Fake news" doesn't mean that the news is false, but often that the information is put in a wrong context with the intention to be "click-bait"y or to create prejudices.
For me, this is exactly what Mr. Jawapa did, he didn't explain the real context, and went fully to defame Xenonetix:

I do not agree with how this situation has been handled, but in my opinion, the moderation decision Xenonetix took is correct.
The point where you draw the line between "turning the community against Xeno" and criticism, is when context purposefully wrongly given and opinions are portrayed as facts.
A Chinese-like government censorship means that opinions that go against with what the government considers facts, are censored.

If Mr. Jawapa said something like:
"Today Xenonetix banned Kira for making a joke about him being a pedo.
Xenonetix went out and performed an interrogation on Kira, that I rather consider silly.
I worry about this behaviour, and I perceive it as a power trip as Xenonetix involved into moderating an issue that he is directly implicated in.

I do agree that Kira should be punished. Had the conversation just been between him and his friend like it was originally then there'd be no problem; private conversations should not be punishable. However, when Kira shared the chat in the discord that's when action became appropriate. But as with every time Xeno takes action against something he goes too far. Banning Kira from the discord? Completely justified. Banning him permanently in the game? Well, it depends. If Kira has previous bans for this kind of thing then it's justified but if not then a temp ban is more reasonable. No action should ever have been taken against jawapa here, that was a complete abuse of Xeno's power. The way Xeno talked to Kira also should not have happened.
The thing is that Kira deserved to be banned because what he said was against the rules. But that wasn't the reason Xeno punished him. Xeno punished Kira because the things he said were about him. I guarantee you that had these things be said about any other player, with a possible exception to other staff members, Xeno would barely have cared at all. Kira would probably still face some form of punishment for it, but Xeno wouldn't be angry about it and hence no action would have been taken against Jawapa. I guess you could argue that Xeno has a right to be angry. The points about the joke being taken seriously are not valid but the joke was still unwarranted and at his expense so he has a right to be angry or upset about that. What he doesn't have the right to do, however, is let his anger influence his power over people.
The problem with Xeno is that he fundamentally is not suited to having any sort of power. This is just the latest example of that. Every time he has the slightest justification to use his power he goes too far. As a result, the majority of the community have called for his resignation time and time again. Very few of us wish any ill will on him. Owning EE has clearly been very mentally draining on him which just serves as another reason why he's not capable of and shouldn't be the owner of the game. Personally, I like and support Xeno's creative vision for the game. The things he has planned I truly do think will be beneficial in the long term and the new direction he took the game in when he originally became the owner was very much needed. The issue is that he can't handle the power that comes with it and abuses that power without much of a second thought. Many of us, including myself, have suggested a compromise. That compromise being that Xeno still owns the game but just doesn't have any access to moderation powers. Xeno is aware of his anger issues, he knows he overreacts, he knows he takes things too far. But he seemingly does not care about fixing any of the flaws in his character. He refuses to give up his moderation privileges out of sheer arrogance and ego.
As it stands, Xeno has already set himself up to have moderation powers over the EEU forums. So his bans won't just be on discord, they won't just be in the game, but they can be on the forums as well. Meaning he could completely silence people's opinions if he wanted to. He's even suggested that he wants bans in the game to also affect the forums and vice versa which the community has heavily rejected; though, I get the feeling he's not gonna listen to us. If I didn't have faith in diff to, if not prevent, at least fix Xeno's inevitable power rampages on the EEU forums, I'd be fighting a lot harder to have Xeno removed as owner. But unfortunately, the community has barely any power over him. If we did, Xeno would have been replaced by now. Additionally, as far as I'm aware, all of the current staff have said they wouldn't want to take on the responsibility of being the owner: either because they don't consider themselves suited for the position or because they're too scared of Xeno to suggest they'd be up for replacing him.
I personally hope that as soon as EEU has made enough money to satisfy Xeno on how much time he has put into the game that he steps down as owner like he knows he should.

As someone who has previously heavily defended Xeno I can say that I have. I can also say that I disagree with your statement that opinions that go against the majority aren't respected because I feel that mine always were. It's a shame that Plesnuik is seemingly ignoring my arguments. I feel the thing that she is missing most in this debate is the context of Xeno's past actions.

I've been thinking on this and I've come to the conclusion that it's somewhat reasonable. Obviously, the community could be more welcoming. But is it not to be expected that players known to the community are going to have more credibility than those that aren't known? I don't believe I was taken too seriously when I first started becoming active on the forums. I think the correlation that you're seeing as "the minority opinion isn't respected" is instead "players new to the forums aren't respected" and "players new to the forums tend to hold a minority opinion".

I think Xeno should just get his moderation powers removed or should at least be banned from handling his own cases, and Kira should be tempbanned for like a week. You know, just enough to make him lose his login streak and make him really think about what he's done. It's like grounding him for a week.

Like mutant said, Xeno has good ideas. I just think there needs to be more damage prevention/control from the staff so that it's impossible for him to make things worse if things start to go sour.

Kira started all this, he had no reason to joke, he did it to make Chris angry. Therefore, we can say that if some hormones inside Kira did not play, this situation would not have happened in general.
Therefore, Kira knew that plays with fire, and he knew that Chris have "anger issues" but decided to make a joke over him. Completely Kira's fault.
If he knows that Xenonetix have "anger issues", why the **** did he do it? To create a post, crying in front of the community, and get banned forever? Or try to lower Chris's ego?

Xenonetix did abuse his rights, but not so much that he can be considered guilty, but in general he is owner of the game, it will not be possible to overthrow him.
When Nou permanently banned a player named "Razenoid" for insult, nobody charged.
But if Chris breath at somebody, you people will start to explode and throw an anvil on everyone who does not agree with you.

I think that it is worth banning him for 1 week, because Kira did not call Chris a pedophile directly, maybe he meant a friendly touch on the shoulder.

Kira generally behaved like a woman, instead of trying to solve the problem, talking to Chris, ask for a 1 week ban at least, say that understood the mistakes - he began to cry to the community.
And of course many people will be licking his ***, calling Xenonetix a dictator, saying that he again began to abuse his abilities.

I also got the impression that many people are bribed by Jawapa for $1, so that's why they began to accuse Chris lmao.
