Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

how do you wash your dishes, and what is the best way to wash dishes
i was dishes by hand, and i think that people who use a macine are
1) lazy
2) wasting energy and water
3) don't even @ me because I've seen the stats about how aparently dishwashers are more efficient, and those studies are bs because
a) they're largely funded by dishwashing manufacturers
b) they rely on the fact that people that wash dishes have a double digit iq and either
i) run the tap constantly (why)
ii) are super slow
iii) use an ungodly amount of soap
c) the studies rarely consider efficient hand washing, which is actually really easy to do
i) plug the sink
ii) use very hot water
iii) only use a small amount of detergent, since the main thing that kills germs etc is the heat, detergent is mainly to remove grease
4) literally just get good, it's not even that hard like i can clean up after a family of six in like twenty minutes get on my **** level
5) like apparently using a dishwasher doesn't even do the job properly? like you still have to rinse and scrape the dishes before hand before you even put it in the machine? and i have people coming at me saying **** like "dude a dishwasher is much more efficient than hand washing" like **** off man you're using twice as much water my dude
6) another thing - somehow having a dishwasher is a status thing or the very idea of washing dishes by hand is "poor" or some **** like get off your high horse man they're just plates lmao
So what do you think? Post your response below

things dishwashers are good for:
being an out of the way space to dry dishes that you've washed by hand
storing produce that doesn't need to be refrigerated
???
poaching an egg maybe if your water is hot enough??
things dishwashers are NOT good for
washing dishes
really anything else
personally i buy antibacterial dish soap so i don't have to worry about using extremely hot water

Well i find washing dishes rather boring, but i do clean it up using my hands and the sink. Sometimes i even use a combination of paper + anti bacterial tissue + paper again. And it’s good enough.

Or i literally just boil water, pour it on a bowl i used to soften it up, and then use paper. Honestly there are a lot of efficient ways of cleaning your stuff once you get your head out of the washing machine propaganda mindset.

I wash my stuff immediately after usage. Once I’ve finished my food, I’ll wash my stuff with water then dry it with paper towels so I can put it all away immediately. Then, every so often, I’ll get my washing up liquid out to wash everything thoroughly.
On the other hand, most of my hallmates prefer the method of “leave-everything-in-the-sink-then-go-back-to-their-parents-for-a-few-days-then-wash-things-when-they-get-back-to-our-halls-when-they-need-to-use-them”.

I have water running constantly while I wash. In a student house you’d need to first clean the sink before filling it up, so nty. And filling up a sink is only quicker if you have a second sink for rinsing stuff off.
Dishwashers can mess up nonstick pans, and I own like 2 plates and a glass so it’s a waste of electricity.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

just lick the plate clean after using it.
Pros:
cleans plate
fun. you can make it into a game!
saliva is a disinfectant, so basically just as good as soap
quick and easy, your tongue is portable! no need to take the plate anywhere
no water bill
dishwashers and sinks get all sorts of mess in the pipes and require expensive cleaning products. your tongue is cheap and easy to clean, just use mouthwash literally ever.
Cons:
literally none, just trust me
