Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What are some things you know about EE that the majority of other people probably don't?
I'll start off. The old Extended Promo theme is actually from Sonic Mega Collection's intro.

back in the old days when there wanst save progress in ee campaigns (or only an 8 minute one i dont remeber exactly) you could get sutck in one of the halloween levels of the 1st campaing i got stuck (by going up in decorative candy oneways) a staff had to help me so i wouldnt lose my progress

the uranium ore in my very old unfinished caves world is actually green mineral blocks, contrary to what people might think
uranium blocks are actually unobtainable simply because they dont exist
Offline
ee shouldve made an ore pack either related to minecraft or make up thier own ores which coudl be used in cave/digbot worlds and the pack woudl be big enough to have various ores and have some ores that can be used as multyply ores

When very old versions of EE are decompiled, worlds are referred to as "caves" in the code and smileys are "guys".
The orange mineral block has a few slightly transparency pixels for some reason. None of the other mineral blocks have this.
"Transparent" blocks like arrows, keys, and crowns weren't actually transparent when added. Besides coins, they had the generic blank background copied behind all their textures. Since there were no backgrounds or shadows back then, this was unnoticeable. (I don't know if this applies to early decorations. Please let me know if you have any related info.)
There's an arbitrary amount of smiley positions, so two smileys (whether or not they're moving) that appear to be on the same pixel can be in slightly different positions. The exception is non-moving smileys within 1/16 of a full tile, which automatically align into place. (You can try this yourself by checking coordinates with /info.)
Collected coins are a different block type from uncollected coins, meaning you can place collected coins in a world if you're somebody like Security-Drone. I don't know if it's possible for non-staff members to do this.
The low gravity effect has a gravity multiplier of 15%, but low gravity worlds have a multiplier of 16%.

This is an interesting topic. I'll post some cool facts in here that pretty much nobody knows later once I have the chance.
I don't know if this applies to early decorations.
As far as I'm aware, it doesn't. The backgrounds were added prior to the decorations.
There's an arbitrary amount of smiley positions, so two smileys (whether or not they're moving) that appear to be on the same pixel can be in slightly different positions
Well, not quite arbitrary. It's a 64-bit floating point number (double) and has 14-15 digits of precision, but yeah, you're correct on the overall point.
don't know if it's possible for non-staff members to do this.
When I last played, they could. IIRC the block ID for a collected gold coin is 101.

yeah the grav world grvaity differs form the actualy low grav effect
early decos ha dminimap colours
late deco's (i think it was th ebroken ladder from toxic) had an acidental minimap color
smiley hats diddnt eixst back in the old days his is seeable in smileys like the santa they do have hats btu they dont hav eoverlappign hats like spy smiley has
there is/was a bug where you coudl get zombie+protection i dunno hwo it works tho anymore
diamodn used to give fake bigspender ( a smaller hatd and glass on the other side) instead of an actualy

Speaking of promo video music... I just remembered this.
The Everybody Edits Promo Video 2013 music is from Jazz Jackrabbit 2's credits.
In 2017, the owner of Everybody Edits bought a copy of GTA for his girlfriend using Everybody Edits' money

Huh, who was this? Dude seems like a total jerk
So here's a scrapped feature:
Lasers
These were going to be quite interesting, but were scrapped due to me leaving staff and performance issues. The new team never picked up on the idea.
Lasers would come in different colors, and could be placed in 4 directions. The player would be killed upon touching a laser beam, and the beam could be controlled by doors and gates.
There was another block that would redirect the laser, but I don't know if I still have the texture.
The laser beam would go through decorations and non-solid blocks.
I can't quite remember who made these textures, unfortunately.

By far the most common world portal target is MrShoe's Moving Tutorial, which is targeted by 16,355 worlds in ArchivEE, and 16,548 indirectly. If I recall correctly, LukeM even excluded unedited home worlds from it, which would make that a generously low number.
The second most targeted is "Random Worlds" by sticksam, targeted by 59 worlds directly and 76 indirectly. It targets 33 directly, and 64 indirectly. It has a world portal tree of 123.
Some more are Ruben's Music Portal (47), - Perfect 7 HUB - (33) by yonanoke, Saints Lobby (27) by rosebella, and MegaMan Dash (24).

The ArchivEE world with the most world portal targets is Biomaniac's Favourites Level Hub (PWfjFd3vNCbEI) with 117 unique targets. (It's targeted by world portals from 3 other worlds if you're curious.) For the fun of it, I made an EELVLS file with the 117 worlds. The world indirectly connects to 222 world portals, and adding worlds that indirectly connect to those 222 creates a tree of 404 total worlds.
Some more are color World 045 (43) by matthewapril15, Ruben's Music Portal (again) (35), ALL WORLDS HUB (34) by vadertheimpaler, TheWarps/ClientsZone by strelok2721 (34), - collection W.34 - by andreynova (33) and Random Worlds (33) by sticksam (again).
