I've never felt more betrayed and used

I don't think I've shared the story of mutant and the phishing scam. Whatever pain your feeling right now let me assure you that it's nothing compared to investing weeks into a game where you were doing so incredibly well role wise, narrowing down reads, getting closer and closer to catching all the mafia and even setting up a deadman's switch to flood the town with the information they need to finish the mafia off after your death only to find out that the person who you trusted more than your own mason partner was mafia all along thus ruining your plan and negating all of the hard work you put into solving the game with the plot twist that the mafia were one step ahead of you the whole time.

crybaby i inteded to kill shadow but i released that if norboy AND zleda were alive i woudl get more suspictiolosu becuase 2 townblocks vs 1 maf is a loss for me i inteded to kill mutant/shaow th enext ingiht

wtf idff was ooo OP i checked rthe rolesin the sreadsheet and diff wa simune to ngiht actiosn so that explains the roleblock discussion form shadow hwo were we suspost to kill diff witout havign half of the town infected?

You would have had a chance if you killed Shadow. There was still lingering suspicion that Slabdrill was a Godfather, or that there was a Framer.

It was simultaneously the worst and best game I've ever played. My campaigning was successful, the town block was strong, given the opportunity we could have lynch 2/4 of the scum, a strong plan was in place that would have allowed me to dictate the lynch onto those people whilst heavily narrowing the lynch pool. I was killed the day before the plan went into action but it didn't matter because I had someone to execute it on my behalf.

There were just 2 problems. First of all, one of the mafia members almost got lynched early in the game but had successfully fake claimed as a third party to survive. And secondly, the person executing my plan turned out to be mafia. They had been manipulating me the entire game causing a few key people to be kept outside the town block. They knew every aspect of my every move and they were able to use that to manipulate the voting (voting in this context is different). From my position, things looked incredibly strong the entire game, the person who betrayed me was my strongest town read and I never suspected a trap (nor did my mason partner).

So basically the plan successfully identified 2 mafia members whilst being tricked by the other 2. 1 of which was able to prevent us from lynching the 2 mafia members identified.

Wow. I think I'll check that out when I have the time to read through all of that.

I can't imagine trying to scumread in that. I spent way too much time overanalyzing every post post in this one, and that one is almost triple the size of this.

ah NONK msotly makes talk only setups (in #17 and #27 he did ) #17 was a bnit meh to rwad tehe setup i mena not knowign who you sent to safehouse is **** and th eight kill looks usseless i do ho there will be atleast some sort of power roles in his next game makes thigns mor eintresting i liek claims and lookign at claims if they are true or false

You were shut out from hosting, for a long time. People finally gave in, because they were tired of hearing you nag. That game was an absolute dumpster fire.

i ws sitting in th ebath tub and was thuinkign abotu hwo the game woudl wokr but i couldnt think of anythign considering 'imagine real life that woudl pe oimposs or obvious' i was first thinking of me vs town and mafia on my side but i was alos liek i coudl greatly go in flavor of mafia if i do a wrong move then i was thinkign of 2 teams fightign each other in a game of chess both have maf screwign them both up but then i wa slike meh it means white maf is basically secerently black player and vicevesta + it woudl be weird if an bad person is tryining to let another bad perosn winwhcih is tryign to let his team lose alos i havetnt thoguth of a realistic way for mafia to **** up a game but i di dtough about playing a gam eof chess on forums wihtout being maafia styled 2 teams play (a team has X players) the team discusses in the thread the moves and votes to do a move majority makes a move happen and the tur n goes to the other team teams are reavealed ofc and balck cant vote for a move for white ofc and to make thigns even more intrestign this game can use the mechaanics of the clock in chess to put preasure on everyone but im nto sure what a realistic time fo rbtoh teams is
