Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm a little inclined to think Trytu is sus for coming out only after Onjit voted for him. I understand that this is in self-defense or whatever, but it makes him seem like he's been hiding around

Why do you think I'm mafia for having this opinion?
I dont think it's fair to say that Processor is Mafia just based off of that alone ?
Well, it is if he can't justify why he thinks that. Though, I'd rather not send someone like Processer away in the first phase when
For the record, Norweiganboy is pretty much 100% correct in my motivations for wanting to remain in the game.
!vote trytu
no post no stay
I think Onjit (and Norweiganboy) are right in that this phase's vote should be on a player of lower activity. I'm tempted to vote trytu too but I'm not so sure I trust Onjit. That said, if trytu is mafia, it'd be very strong evidence to suggest that Onjit is a townie.
Also, I think Norweiganboy is looking pretty townie at the moment not just from his posts but because I think it's likely he'd have known about the announcement PM if he shared a PT with a bunch of people who had access to it.

Kira, you’re not being very helpful.
The issue here is that even if I tried to help it would be pointless. The only way to find a mafia is by post analysis which is not factual information.
"Hey this guy is looking mafia today because he said this and that."
"Okay and how can you prove that?"
There is literally no way Mafia will ever lose this.

If there is a tie at deadline, the game enters overtime, and the next vote to break the tie ends the phase with a plurality. In the case of an all zero tie, the next vote cast is the only vote that counts for the day.
thats bs
if there's no tie and majority has not been reached, what happens then?

aint that weird
it seems like the only way we can find out mafia is by cross-checking allignments with the user’s whose allignments have been revealed after being sent to either hell or heaven.
going back to a person's posts after their alignment flips and seeing their reads on other players
is that what youre saying
also the whole point on lynching proc for that alone is rather stretched
Kira, you’re not being very helpful.
he's right though
this is pretty much guessing mixed with studying what was said by people that already flipped
as this is first phase, its entirely guessing
That said, if trytu is mafia, it'd be very strong evidence to suggest that Onjit is a townie.
i mean onjit could be bussing too
albeit thats very unlikely when he pushes for it out of the blue
that being said, with this amount of mafia players, bussing could be a viable strat for mafia to pull off
There is literally no way Mafia will ever lose this.
with solid post analysis and some luck its still winnable imo

I don’t know if some of the votes are joking or serious. And I don’t think guess votes are good, you could kill innocents.
But there’s literally no way for us to know who is mafia, so I guess that’s the only way ._.

nobody said you're mafia, your name is not even mentioned in that quote
now i do find it suspicious that you suddenly turned so defensive when it wasnt asked for
in mafia games people prefer lynching inactives because they're not contributing to the discussion much and even if they flip as townie, it's not a big loss for town

Dude... that's the whole damn point of the game... why are you playing mafia if you don't want to analyse people's posts to determine their motives?
Roles aren't supposed to solve a game of mafia - they just have done in previous games because they've all been role madness. You're not usually meant to be able to make definitive conclusions. Mafia is a game of guesswork and opinions, of hiding and finding motives. You're supposed to look at the things that people say and do and think "does that come from town motivation on scum motivation?" If your answer to that question is 'I don't know' then the next question you should be thinking is "What can I do/say to find out?".
Offline
I mean, Kira’s comments can be perceived two ways here. Either he is just pessimistic and has no idea on the best way to solve the game. (Townie motive)
Or he wants to create an atmosphere of negativity where nobody bothers trying to solve anything. Highly benefitting the mafia. (Mafia motivation)
Do you see what i did there Kira? I analyzed your posts to see which motive you could have had behind the makings of those comments. That’s how you’re supposed to play this game.

If I have understood it correctly, if there are no votes to send anyone to hell/heaven, then if someone votes someone right before the deadline, that person is sent to Hell/Heaven.
On the one hand, this could be a good tactic for mafia at the last stages of the match, where we should be careful with anyone who tries to keep the vote count to 0, since they could abuse this and send someone to hell/heaven with just one vote.
On the other hand, this is right now a very bad tactic for mafia because if they did this, it would out them as mafia instantly.
There's a 33,33% chance that someone randomly lynched will turn out to be mafia, so the odds are against us right now, but because this "keep vote count at 0 and then vote someone before the deadline to lynch them" tactic is really bad for mafia this early into the game, I'm going to read minimania as townie because of this:
Couldn't we all just agree not to vote until we all can be ABSOLUTELY certain on someone? The mafia definitely won't be able to get a majority, and we shouldn't leave them room to hammer votes on either
I also advocate for nobody to vote for anyone until we're 100% sure they're scum, so I request the people who have voted (Caleb101, Processor, NorwegianboyEE and Kira) to !unvote.
Not going to make any scum readings yet.

This strategy is inherently flawed because we're never going to be 100% sure that anyone is scum. It also only takes 1 person to not agree to do it for the whole thing to fall apart.
Eg:
I don't care for this idea and I'm going to use my vote as I see fit. People voting as they see fit is healthy for the game as votes are useful for things like analysing voting patterns, putting pressure on people, and getting a better sense for associations. I personally find it scummy for people to try and deny us that kind of information and interactions.

How is not voting going to help us ZeldaXD? Unless the plan is to just make the game drag on and never give us any concrete information whatsoever? We should lynch someone, it is the only concrete way to find out people’s allignments. Of course, we could intentionally skip to heaven phase, but that seems like something mafia would want, because the town potentially voting mafia into heaven is much more beneficial to them than potentially voting a mafia into hell in this first turn where information is less plentiful.

This game has the same overtime mechanic as safehouse mafia. If there are 0 votes at deadline, the phase will continue in overtime until someone gets 1 vote, and that person will be selected. But if you guys start abusing that mechanic to make super long phases, I'll add a new rule which will be much less favourable for town, so please dont do that.
It is not possible to send no one to heaven/hell.
