My thoughts on the activity of Everybody Edits.

Something like this has probably been posted on here before, but I am just going to throw my thoughts in since I have nothing else to talk about.

So, over the years, the amount of players have decreased. The game was very popular a few years ago, but it has hyped down a lot.

I'm sure we can all guess why this has been happening, people lose interest. however, there could be a few reasons as to why the game is inactive.

1. - Updates are slow sometimes, we never got EE Unity that was announced a few years ago. However, that could of been an early idea for EEU. And the amount of current staff is somewhat small. (Nine EE staff members as of now according to EEWiki.)

2. - It can be toxic at times, there's no doubt about that, every online game is going to have that though. So it's not surprising.

3. - When there is such few players, there are a lack of worlds. Some players might see Everybody Edits as a inactive game, and they might think it's boring, and overall dying.

So what can be done? Well, advertising could help. I honestly don't know how much advertising costs, but I'm sure it costs some. Thankfully there's Patreon!

A new promo video could also be made to help with advertising, we haven't gotten a new promo video that I know of since 2013. Which was six years ago. So a new one could help get the word out.

All of this really isn't necessary for Everybody Edits anymore though, since it's being shut down for Everybody Edits Offline. But these tips could help with Everybody Edits Universe, though.

I don't really know what more to add on to this thread, since my mind is drawing a blank while writing this. So put your thoughts in the comments of this thread if you'd like.

Hopefully Everybody Edits Universe will have a fresh new start and do well for years to come!

Uh. As far as I'm aware of, none of them are currently employed IRL. Chris Lamb was fired from his last job at a Casino a few months ago for bad-mouthing his boss. A very common symptom of an over-inflated ego.

Uh. As far as I'm aware of, none of them are currently employed IRL.

Not sure about Xeno, but during term time I'm at university and over the summer I have an internship, and Byte is self employed and works on games other than EE (such as Rotate)
