Flavor has no impact on gameplay or roles and is purely for your enjoyment and mine. Roles and smileys are assigned 100% randomly and independently of each other. Role PM's will read "Vanilla Townie" and "Mafia Goon". Smileys will only be mentioned on the player list and maybe in vote counts to keep track of replacements.

Spikes rain from the sky... invisible portals spring up from the earth.... the Everybody Edits world has ended as we know it, claiming the lives of the good and the bad alike. Nothing remains but a mess of randomly arranged blocks, most of which are fire, or checkpoints directly above fire. Trolls, spammers, and other undesirables relentlessly torment themselves, each other, and anyone unfortunate enough to remain in the ruins of post-shutdown EE. The only means of escape is to find the promised land of EEU, where rest can be found at last.

15 (or 9) of EE's most elite smileys have locked themselves in a private world, but time is running out. The corruption has already overcome some of them, and their goal is to blend in with the innocent smileys to get sent to EEU and corrupt it as well. It's up to the innocent smileys to send the evil ones back into the exterior darkness, and send the trustworthy ones to the paradise of EEU... and hope that they will one day come back for them.

Big Spender lived as a high roller who went around spending upwards fifty dollars on free flash games, purchasing fifty dollar resort packages, and leasing fifty dollar luxury estates.

Touch Diamond is the heir to the mysterious Diamond family. Little is known about them, but it is suspected they are even richer then Big Spender himself. Probably because they don't spend as much.

Shades often comes across as arrogant due to his unparalleled skill at minigames and frequent use of the word "noob", but deep down inside, he has a soft heart.

Gasmask knew this was coming for a long time. He had been reading the signs. EE has been dying since 2010, and he was the only one who was prepared. If only people had listened...

Kung Fu Master has been playing EE since 1999, back when it was a pencil and paper mail based role playing game, and there were only three smileys. He remembers the days of the infamous Sudoku to Code levels that no one else does.

Bully was afk for years, but got up just in time to escape the ensuing calamity. Finding himself in a confusing new world filled with blocks and smileys he doesn't understand, he must adapt quickly to survive.

Graduate has a degree in Pixel Arts, majoring in EE Artistry. Will his block based art skills hold up in the arena of social persuasion?

Fanboy is the biggest fan of Everybody Edits. Heartbroken and disillusioned by recent events, will he be able to put his feelings aside come to terms with abandoning EE?

Bruce, the only member of this cast who needs no introduction, may also be participating in this game!

Bishop Smiles earlier today watched in horror as the last EE Cathedral went up in flames and spikes. He is the first one to tell the rest of the smileys of what is going on, and that they must seek to enter EEU.

Templar comes from a secret society of Templar Knights. Little is known about this smiley, but he is very good at chess.

Commando is a veteran of the war against the hacked client exploiters. He speaks in a gravelly voice about setting up high jump traps and groans that he didn't fight for a culture with high jump and double jump effects.

Ninja has the code. Ninja can always be counted on to get the code, though no one really knows how he's able to do it so well.

Superman was an inactive former staff member who was left behind when the game was shut down. Rumors suggest that he holds a grudge against the EEU staff, but he denies it.

Light Wizard, considered a magic coin prodigy, claims that this calamity was foreshadowed by blue coins exhibiting magical properties. No one really cares to challenge the theory, as they have more pressing matters to deal with.

Mafia aren't invited to view the martyr chat. That would super lame for the townies, since they would just be wholly discouraged from using the chat at all unless it was judgment day.

I'm not going to sign you up based on this condition, because this is a game of variable size, and I can't promise anything about timing. Everyone who wants to play this should be ready to commit to a full mafia game.
