Ads for EE Universe

I want to get the question straight as much as possible.

I remember that there used to be ads related to Everybody Edits, back in 2010 or so I think.

Will there be ads accompagnying the release of Everybody Edits Universe? I mean without an ads we can't really get an good amount of playerbase, IMO.

according to the charts on the patreon page that we all know and love, a fair chunk of donations was supposed to go to advertisement
since EEU is not even released yet but they are still receiving donations (wow they dropped to $433/month), i wonder where the money designated for ads are going instead

Anything to do with going to Gamescom (next year most likely) would definitely be considered to be part of the advertising budget, but that wouldn't be until later on. Towards the beginning it would be about promoting the game in various ways, including ad placements on any appropriate platforms. Currently, the advertising budget is being saved up so we have plenty to work with at the public launch of EEU.
